Tiffany & Co. unveils a new jewellery collection, Bird on a Rock by Tiffany, reimagining Jean Schlumberger’s iconic Bird on a Rock motif through the visionary lens of Nathalie Verdeille, Chief Artistic Officer of jewellery and High jewellery.
The collection includes new high jewellery suites and marks the debut of designs in the fine jewellery category, all of which celebrate the soaring optimism and boundless potential of love. At the heart of the Bird on a Rock collection is the wing motif— graceful, sculptural and symbolic. Inspired by the layered beauty and
delicate tension of a bird’s plumage, the designs take flight in radiant diamonds and precious metals.
“ForthehighjewelleryBirdona Rockdesigns, westudiedbirdsas JeanSchlumbergerdid—carefully observingtheirstances, their feathers, the structures of their wings—tocreatedynamicforms thatseemtoflutterandperchupon the wearer,” said Nathalie Verdeille, Chief Artistic Officer, Tiffany & Co.
“Forthefinejewellerycollection, we looked at this bird from another perspective, distillingitdowntoits essence—thewing—andstylizing themotifintoelegant, abstract patterns.Thesesculpturalforms intertwine and unfold in textural
creations that are as abstract as theyaresymbolic.”
The collection includes two exceptional high jewelry suites. One is centered around tanzanites—an iconic Tiffany & Co. “legacy gemstone” that the House introduced in 1968—while the other celebrates turquoise, a gemstone deeply embedded in Tiffany & Co.’s design heritage. The use of turquoise is also a nod to Jean Schlumberger, who featured the gemstone in high jewelry, juxtaposing it in surprising ways, such as with diamonds. The tanzanite suite features a striking necklace, bracelet and earrings.

The turquoise suite is anchored by a statement necklace featuring a diamond bird that appears to grasp strands of cabochon turquoise, accented with gold and diamond feathers throughout. The piece culminates in a dramatic cabochon turquoise drop. The suite also includes a pendant, brooch and ring, each echoing the iconic bird in unexpected ways.
In the Bird on a Rock by Tiffany fine jewelry collection, the sophistication and avant-garde artistry of the original Bird on a Rock brooch evolves into bold, textural creations. Each design celebrates nature’s individuality

and asymmetry—two qualities that deeply inspired Jean Schlumberger. Figurative bird motifs, flying solo or in pairs, are rendered with the same craftsmanship as the high jewelry pieces. From intricate texturing to various diamondsetting techniques, Tiffany & Co.’s craftsmanship signatures are evident throughout the collection.
The fine jewelry collection’s more abstract interpretations—Bird on a Rock by Tiffany Wings—showcase diamonds with hidden settings, as if suspended midair. When stacked, the scalloped edges of one piece perfectly nestle with the feathershaped silhouette of the other.

One key style, a pair of convertible earrings, offers four different looks, from striking drop earrings to delicate studs.
As with all Tiffany & Co. collections, love remains at the heart of Bird on a Rock. Each unique piece serves as an inspiration for those embarking on their journey, whether solo or together—a beautiful reminder that the sky is the limit for those who dare to soar. Breaking free from limitations, the Bird on a Rock collection is designed for dreamers.

The new limited edition timepiece combines traditional high horology, marquetry, hand-engraving and champlevé enamel with cutting-edge 3D-modelling and laser-etching to create Montblanc’s most opulently crafted watch to date.
In 1745, King Louis XV of France hosted the wedding of his son, the Dauphin Louis, to the Infanta Maria Theresa Raphael of Spain. Held at the Palace of Versailles, the marriage ceremony itself is hardly remembered today, but the masquerade ball hosting an estimated 1500 costumed guests in
the gilded Hall of Mirrors (galerie des Glaces) is still remembered as one of the most spectacular and historically important parties in recorded history.
One of the many gossipy tidbits of the all-night party is that of Louis XV himself passing shoulderto-shoulder through the packed ballroom with his entourage, each dressed as rather enormous, sculpted yew tree. The event was soon dubbed The Yew Tree Ball (Le Bal des Ifs) by the ever-gossipy French press. Why would a king don such a costume and risk exposure among the throng? To flirt, of course, with the bewitching Madame d’Etiolles, an upwardly mobile Parisian beauty who would soon become the official court mistress of the king, taking the revered title Marquise de Pompadour.

Among the 2300 rooms at the Palace of Versailles, the Hall of Mirrors is not only the most grand, but also the most opulent. Commissioned by Louis the XIV, designed by Jules HardouinMansart, and finally completed in 1684, the 73-meter room boasts columns of marble that reach up nearly 10.4 meters from the parquet oak floor to create 17 grand arches inset with 357 mirrors that reflect the exterior gardens and, when hosting festivities, the mirrors reflect 8 enormous crystal chandeliers (as well as 12 smaller ones), each lit with hundreds of candles. To this day, the Hall of Mirrors serves its intended purpose of dazzling its guests and asserting the undeniable supremacy of The House of Bourbon, as the Louis dynasty was known.
Montblanc celebrates the grandeur of Versailles and its most storied ball in the Montblanc Star Legacy Suspended Exo Tourbillon Château de Versailles. Every detail of this watch takes its aesthetic cue from Versailles, and the dial recreates the Hall of Mirrors on the night of The Yew Tree Ball. This decorative

feat involves traditional enameling, micro-painting and inlaying of marble and oak. Less traditional, though equally exquisite, are the use of sophisticated 3D-modelling and laser-etching into both sapphire and brass.
Precision timing is achieved with Montblanc’s patented Exo Tourbillon mechanism, a complication developed in-house over three years at the Montblanc Manufacture in Villeret, Switzerland and first released in 2010.
One of the most lasting impressions of the Palace of Versailles is that, despite housing over 2300 rooms and having been built up across generations, its style is essentially Baroque. As one moves through the palace, one finds true harmony
from the grandest architectural gesture to the smallest detail. In a similar gesture, the dial of the Montblanc Star Legacy Suspended Exo Tourbillon Château de Versailles brings together a surprising number of decorative motifs using a variety of artistic methods and materials while achieving aesthetic harmony.
The main dial recreates The Yew Tree Ball, using as its inspiration the etching “Decoration for a Masked Ball at Versailles” by Charles Nicolas Cochin I. First printed in 1746 to memorialise the evening, prints of this work now reside in collections ranging from New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art to London’s British Museum.

The base of the dial is constructed from white gold 750/1000 (18 karats), which is then covered with black enamel and topped with gold paillons before being baked in the oven. This enamel and gold treatment gives the effect of the candle-lit chandeliers being reflected in the windows, creating an eye-catching depth to the dial. The archways are created from two types of stone: the milky white Cacholong, a variety of opal, and Sarrancolin marble sourced from the same quarry in France’s Hautes-Pyrénées region used for the marble in the original Hall of Mirrors at Versailles. For the floor, solid oak is cut and inlaid on the dial to recreate the parquet pattern. Every material found on the dial base will vary naturally, making each Montblanc Star Legacy Suspended Exo Tourbillon Château de Versailles slightly different.
Many of the existing prints of Cochin’s etching of The Yew Tree Ball were only partially filled in, and some examples leave ghostly outlines of the guests in the hall. To capture the ethereal quality of these etchings, as well as the sense of secrecy and gossip surrounding Louis XV’s disguised appearance, Montblanc’s artisans have turned to etching the chandeliers and costumed guests into sapphire plates that rest on top of the main dial. Specifically, you can make out the yew-tree costumes on the left side of the dial, where the mystery of which one hides Louis XV remains.
Etching sapphire is a modern technique deployed onto a modern material, and yet the sapphire etchings blend seamlessly into the

traditional marquetry of the main dial, adding visual depth while capturing the qualities of Cochin’s prints. Hand-painting of the cables holding the chandeliers brings a touch of marquetry, and yet another layer of depth.
Inspired by clocks and pocket watches from the era of Louis XIV, the time-telling dial sits at 12-o’clock as the grand visual feature of the Montblanc Star Legacy Suspended Exo Tourbillon Château de Versailles. This dial directly ties the watch to the grand traditions

of haute horlogerie in vogue with Europe’s elites during the 17th and 18th centuries.
Champlevé enamel is a technique used in a metal piece in which hollows are carved and then filled with enamel. The piece is then baked in an oven until the enamel fuses.
The technique forms the luminous white backdrop of the time-telling dial, while blue enamel paint is used for the Roman numerals and pure gold powder is painted on in order to create the sun’s extended rays in the center. Over this dial, a lasermachined 3N-gold supporting ring is laid, creating a decorative framing structure that mimics the polished brass detailing in the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles. The section framing the tourbillon recreates stainedglass motifs, including the fleur-delys, as found throughout the Royal Chapel of Versailles.
The hands of the time-telling dial are styled like those found on Baroque clocks of the era. However, because the scale of a wristwatch is so reduced, traditional milling techniques are replaced by today’s laser cutting. The precise detail of this highly decorative yellow gold 750/1000 (18 karats) handset invites the viewer to peer through a loupe magnifier to admire the finest details.
Even more impressive, perhaps, is the brass Apollo head that acts as a cap to the central arbor on which the hands are mounted. This figure mimics the Apollonian sun at the center of the large clock above the king’s chambers at the Marble Court at Versailles. Curiously, this clock was originally not fitted with a mechanical device because it marked the time of the death of kings, first Louis XIV and then Louis XV. However, it would later be fitted with a working mechanism.
To create this fascinating visage, Montblanc’s designer created a three-dimensional digital scan of the Apollo sun on the door of the Salon de Venus at Versailles.

Using multiple camera angles, a complex digital file containing over 1.5 million data points then had to be reduced to a manageable file to direct the laser-etching machines.
A further heightened expression of haute horlogerie arrives with the yellow gold 750/1000 (18 karats) case of the Montblanc Star Legacy Suspended Exo Tourbillon Château de Versailles.
A hand-engraved laurel wreath— long associated with Apollo in ancient Greece and still used around the world today to symbolise victory—adorns the bezel. Montblanc’s hand-engravers have also set a different, yet still relevant, narrative into the intricate caseband engraving. In this engraving, we find a recreation of a painting by François Lemoyne from the Salon de la Paix at Versailles in which Louis XV is offering an olive branch to all of Europe, while above him Minerva—the namesake of Montblanc’s historical manufacture and the Roman goddess of arts, war and justice—instructs Mercury to keep closed the Gates of Janus,
a reference to the practice during the Roman Empire of closing the gates of the Janus temple during times of peace, a symbol of stable boundaries. This painting casts Louis XV as a Roman Emperor, something very much in vogue as Neoclassicism asserted itself throughout Europe during the Enlightenment.
First released in 2010, Montblanc’s Exo Tourbillon is a patented mechanism that took three years to develop, bringing novel watchmaking ideas to the tourbillon.
“Exo” is Greek for “outside,” and in this instance the term refers to the balance wheel residing above the tourbillon cage. This unique solution not only minimises the diameter of the tourbillon cage and rotating escapement, but it also allows the balance wheel to be large enough to house 18 adjustment screws (regulating weights), which in turn adds mass to the unit.
Remarkably, the balance wheel mechanism is anchored by a single-

arm bridge. To align and secure a single-arm bridge to the tolerances required of this mechanism is a testament to the savoir-faire of Montblanc’s master watchmakers. Aesthetically speaking, the beautifully engraved and goldcoated stainless steel single-arm bridge arcs in perfect unison with the domed shape of the timetelling dial, helping to create visual harmony between the two sub-dials.
Beyond a technical improvement, the unique configuration of the Exo Tourbillon puts the balance wheel slightly above the dial, displaying
the beating heart of the watch in a mesmerising fashion. Meanwhile, because this is a one-minute tourbillon in which the mechanism revolves once every sixty seconds, the tourbillon also acts as a running-second indicator.
The movement’s bridges and gear train, largely visible through the transparent caseback, are finished by hand, including decorative work such as Côtes de Genève striping, circular graining, mirror-polishing, and top-grade anglage with precise inner-angle beveling, largely regarded the most difficult aspect of movement finishing.

The box for the Montblanc Star Legacy Suspended Exo Tourbillon Château de Versailles was constructed by the Parisian luxury table-maker, Elie Bleu, in operation since 1976. The music box inside is by Switzerland’s Reuge, which has specialised in luxury music boxes and mechanical songbirds since 1865. The music played by the coffret was presented at Versailles to celebrate the wedding of the Dauphin Louis and his bride on that storied night in February of 1745. Specifically, the music is by Jean-Philippe Rameau with lyrics originally written by none other than Voltaire.
Thanks to an external trigger on the side of the box, the music will play and the watch will turn in place as if dancing at the great masquerade ball. This spectacle takes place upon a real oak miniature parquet floor surrounded by real marble arches mimicking those of the Hall of Mirrors. On the outer walnut face of the box, the scene of The Yew Tree Ball from Cochin’s famous engraving is laser-etched to exacting precision, a signature

The independent and integrated Swiss watch Manufacturer Ulysse Nardin unveils the Freak [X Crystalium], a bold new milestone that advances horology on two fronts: mechanical innovation
and the avant-garde design of the Freak, now fused with the hightech decorative art of Crystalium. Due to the complex development of the Crystalium plate, this new edition is a very limited
production of just 50 exclusive pieces worldwide. It is as rare as it is radical—a true testament to how far technology can be pushed when nothing is off-limits.

When it was launched in 2001, the Freak redefined the rules of watchmaking. It was not just a new watch. It was a reset button. No hands. No dial. No crown. Instead, the Freak introduced a concept that had never been seen before: the movement itself telling the time. This first “superwatch” did not just look different, it functioned differently and ushered in a new era: the Modern Horology Era.
Behind this new Age and radical innovation was the genius and visionary Dr. Ludwig Oechslin. It all began in the 1980s, when most of the industry was turning to quartz. But Ulysse Nardin, in collaboration with Oechslin, developed an Haute Horlogerie marvel, a mechanical wristwatch capable of mapping
the night sky: the Astrolabium Galileo Galilei. This extraordinary timepiece, the most complicated watch ever made, earned a place in the Guinness World Records. A few years later, in 2001, the same spirit of innovation and independence gave rise to the Freak—the most complicated time-only watch ever created, and one of the most groundbreaking in horological history.
It was also the very first watch to introduce silicon technology — a move that would trigger a wave across the entire industry and open the door to a new age of high-performance, ultra-precise timekeeping. Since its debut, the Freak has obtained over 20 patents and sparked a movement in 21st
century horology. More than a breakthrough in engineering, the Freak is a symbol of creativity, mechanical advancement, and independence.
Introduced in 2019, the Freak X brought this maverick DNA into a streamlined form. For the first time, a crown was added for winding and setting the time. But its signature spirit remained: one-hour flying orbital carousel and a mechanical theatre. With the Freak [X Crystalium], Ulysse Nardin takes the next step, merging its pioneering mechanics with a whole new frontier of design: an innovative rotating hour disc, born from a high-tech process at the edge of material science.
At Ulysse Nardin, innovation goes beyond mechanics. It is also about how a watch feels, looks, and beats on the wrist. The Freak is the iconic ambassador of this mindset: a true manifesto of pushing the boundaries of innovation and technology.
Now, with the Freak [X Crystalium], that legacy moves into the realm of high-tech decorative arts. The rotating hour disc is made of Crystalium, a revolutionary material that fuses scientific precision with raw aesthetic expression. Here is how it is made.
At the core is ruthenium, a platinum-group metal known for its strength and shine —10 times rarer than platinum. Over several days, it undergoes a slow, controlled vapour-deposition crystallisation process — the same way frost forms on glass. This process, which
took years to perfect, results in natural, fractal-like crystal structures, impossible to duplicate, full of shimmering texture and microscopic complexity. Each disc is a one-off, a singular piece of material art. To heighten its effect, it is treated with a warm

rose gold PVD finish and subtle black shading, handapplied with fine varnish to deepen the contrast and accentuate the light play. This is not decoration. This is next-generation craftsmanship.
The Freak [X Crystalium] is housed in a black DLCcoated titanium case, with a matching bezel, black hour indicator, and minute bridge. It is paired with a ballistic-textured black rubber strap that gives the watch a bold and modern presence. This ultra-dark backdrop sets the stage for the Crystalium disc, radiant through its rose gold colour, alive with light, and rich in visual depth: a captivating expression of material in motion.
At the heart of the watch lies the automatic calibre UN-230, featuring a flying carrousel with a silicon balance wheel and escapement—crafted entirely in-house at Ulysse Nardin’s dedicated silicon lab, SIGATEC. Both components are suspended by a bridge that functions as the minute hand, completing a full rotation every hour. The Crystalium hour disc, with its pointer positioned beneath the movement, serves as the hour hand and completes a full rotation every 12 hours. This subtle, continuous motion perfectly fuses engineering and aesthetics in seamless synchrony.
The Freak [X Crystalium] is a watch that embodies everything Ulysse Nardin stands for: mechanical daring, material innovation, and the bold spirit to explore what is next. It is about redefining the future of watchmaking, one revolution at a time.

Gucci introduces Gucci Shift, a new sneaker that reflects a refined sense of movement and offers a contemporary expression of athletic codes reimagined for today’s pace.
First unveiled at the Cruise 2026 fashion show in Florence last May, the design is ultralight and low to the ground, anchored by the House’s signature Web stripe, an equestrian-inspired detail that connects heritage with modern design.
Balancing ease and refinement, Gucci Shift plays with proportion and tone across its variations, embracing the nuance of everyday style while remaining just ahead of the moment.
For women, the sneaker blends mesh GG fabric and soft suede with side elastic inserts that enhance its deconstructed, ultra-light feel. The flat sole recalls the elegance of a classic ballerina, merging the lightness of dance with the comfort of a sneaker. Signature details include a light gold Interlocking G charm on the laces, the Web detail on the side, and a Web loop at the back. Women’s styles are offered in suede and technical fabric colorways, as well as suede combined with GG canvas in neutral tones.

For men, the design emphasizes bold modernity with signature Web stripe details on the tongue and back, and lateral stitching recalling the Web motif.

The look is completed with an outsole featuring a maxi-logo detail. Men’s variations are available in plain leather, washed leather, and GG canvas.

Lightweight, versatile, and forwardlooking, the Gucci Shift sneaker embodies a fresh chapter in the House’s exploration of movement and everyday ease.

Acqua di Parma’s Advent Calendar returns in festive prints by Cristina Celestino
www.acquadiparma.com
A celebration of anticipation and joy, the 2025 Advent Calendar by Acqua di Parma transforms the countdown to the festive season into a ritual of discovery. This year, the coveted seasonal edition

Antelao, one of the Dolomite’s most iconic peaks, is the symbolic guide of this festive range. A metaphor for the mountain landscape in all its majesty, Antelao evokes a world where traditional craftsmanship is made contemporary, shaped by tactile experiences, natural beauty, and quiet sophistication. Celestino reinterprets traditional decorative techniques from the alpine region— hammering, craquelé, and brushed finishes— through a contemporary lens, giving life to the visual prints that adorn the Advent Calendar.

Playful yet elegant, the round hatbox design becomes a luminous décor object with brushed gold effect patterns echoing Acqua di Parma’s colours and festive sophistication. Behind each of the 25 golden doors is a surprise selection drawn from the Maison’s most loved universes—Colonia, Blu Mediterraneo, Signatures of the Sun, and the Home Collection—inviting you to embrace the season through scents. Cristina Celestino’s signature adorns the box, enhancing this collector’s item with a unique design gesture.

Fantasmagory. A world of illusion. Extrait de parfum Fantasmagory 100ml, 510€
Available in a selection of Louis Vuitton stores and on louisvuitton.com
Since 2021, Louis Vuitton has been redefining the very essence of boldness and the extraordinary through the Les Extraits Collection. Driven by his unmistakably modern vision, the Maison’s Master Perfumer, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, reinterprets the great themes of perfumery into their most profound expressions yet.
Fantasmagory, vanilla in the light of a new day Louis Vuitton’s journey to the extraordinary begins with a monumental perfume ingredient: vanilla.

An unprecedented, unexpected interpretation that shines with newfound brilliance. A beacon to duality.
Fantasmagory draws inspiration from a world of illusion, beginning with the dreamlike illumination shows of the 18th century – a symbiosis of movement and light. The idea of radiance as both a source and a catalyst for transformation is one treasured by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. The result is the collection’s seventh opus, concentrating all of vanilla’s sunny glow into a fragrance bottle. Notes of misty anise and gentle floral, leather inflexions are set loose by the use of tahitensis vanilla from Papua New Guinea. Treasured for its radiance, this cultivar unfurls a silky quality that weightlessly caresses the skin. Here, pulp from the whole vanilla pod is cryogenically frozen prior to CO2 extraction, resulting in absolute aromatic purity. The final sensation is akin to smoothing a vanilla pod’s natural essence directly over bare skin.

From the moment we stepped into the grand lobby of The Rubens at the Palace, our stay felt exceptional — a perfect blend of timeless luxury, impeccable service, and thoughtful detail. Nestled on Buckingham Palace Road, just across from the Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace, the setting could not have been more regal.
We stayed in the Grand St James Suite, which truly was nothing short of stunning. The rich fabrics, elegant furnishings and opulent, regal touches made us feel as though we were staying inside a royal residence.
In-keeping with the hotel’s signature suites, the space felt generous, beautifully appointed, and subtly rather than ostentatiously luxurious. For those seeking an elevated stay, The Rubens offers Executive Suites and Family Suites with features such as marble bathrooms, luxury “Savoir” beds, Nespresso machines and even in-room yoga mats.
Being so close to Buckingham Palace added a special dimension — looking through the windows at the Mews and knowing you’re in the heart of London’s royal quarter creates a memorable backdrop.
One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea — a real treat and far from an everyday experience. Served in the elegant Palace Lounge overlooking the Royal Mews, this classic British ritual was executed with elegance and care.
The presentation of the sandwiches, scones and pastries was beautiful, and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. What stood out even more was how the team catered seamlessly to our dietary requirements.
For dinner, we experienced the hotel’s landmark restaurant, The English Grill, which holds two AA rosettes and features charcoalfired Josper grilling of premium British cuts. The setting was calm and elegant, the service polished and attentive, and the food truly memorable.

Breakfast too was a standout: breakfast is served daily in The English Grill, where we found a wide variety of hot and cold options, all of high standard and freshly cooked.
What made our stay truly memorable was the service throughout every department. Every single member of staff was warm, professional, and attentive. A very special mention must go to John the doorman, who has been welcoming guests for over 46 years. His presence, kindness and charm added a deeply personal and historic touch to our stay — we felt that we were being looked after by someone who has seen decades of London hospitality and whose pride in his role shines through.
Despite the hotel’s size, which we only fully appreciated after exploring (it offers many room types, suites, lounge and dining spaces), the personal service made it feel intimate and welcoming. We were constantly impressed by how every detail was handled with care and genuine hospitality.
The Rubens’ location is absolutely champion: perched across from the Royal Mews, with Buckingham

Palace steps away, and with Westminster and Victoria stations close by — it provided the perfect base for exploring London’s historic and cultural heart.
The ambience inside blends traditional British grandeur with comfortable warmth. Velvet drapes, dark wood panelling, rich fabrics and classic décor give you the feeling of stepping into a refined London hotel, while still feeling welcoming rather than imposing.
The hotel also makes an effort to look after your wellness, curated menus for healthy options, and nearby jogging routes through St James’s Park are part of their offering.

The Rubens isn’t just a hotel — it’s a truly special experience. We left with lasting memories: the luxurious suite, the refined tea, the attentive service, the sense of being in a place where every detail was considered. If you’re looking for classic luxury, deep tradition and world-class service in the heart of London, you won’t go wrong here.
We would absolutely stay again — and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for that “royal” stay in London.

On the outer edge of Saudi Arabia’s west coast, a quiet architectural story is unfolding. Set on Ummahat Island, a protected stretch of sand and sea only accessible by private boat or seaplane, Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residence, introduces a rare new standard for coastal living in the region.
Presented as part of the Red Sea Residences portfolio, this is not a resort with homes. It is a home shaped by nature, designed for those who seek space, serenity, and a deeper relationship with the natural world. With just 19

villas crafted by Foster + Partners and Wimberly Interiors, Nujuma offers an architectural dialogue between dune-inspired forms and the textures of the Saudi coastline. Curved silhouettes and organic lines evoke shells, breeze, and salt, all while treading lightly on the land.
Inside, homes are layered with neutral tones, organic textures, and understated finishes that reflect regional artistry and the tranquillity of island life. Expansive terraces and floor-to-ceiling openings frame the sea, while details such as handwoven rugs and locally inspired ceramics give each space its own rhythm. Residences open directly onto white-sand beaches and uninterrupted views, with private pools and generous indoor-outdoor areas designed for slow living.
With layouts ranging from one- to two-bedroom beachfront homes, starting at approximately 149 square metres, each has been designed to feel expansive, yet grounded. It is made for hosting, retreating, or simply moving at the pace of the island.
Each home is supported by the Ritz-Carlton Reserve’s discreet and intuitive hospitality. From dedicated butlers and private chefs to wellness advisors and on-call concierges, service is tailored to every resident. Homeowners also enjoy access to Neyrah Spa, a sea-facing wellness sanctuary offering holistic therapies and treatments rooted in local traditions. At the same time, those seeking movement can explore yoga, meditation or active pursuits arranged entirely to their preference.
Beyond the villas, the island connects to the experiences of The Red Sea. Residents can enjoy diving and snorkelling across vibrant coral sites with Galaxea, join paddleboarding and overwater activities with WAMA, or explore desert trails and guided hikes curated by Akun. Days can begin with sunrise over the reef and end with astronomy-led stargazing under some of the clearest skies in the region.

On neighbouring Shura Island, the destination will feature curated retail, dining, and cultural spaces designed to complement residential life. In contrast, nearby Laheq — an island predominantly focused on residential living — will introduce further lifestyle options, including yachting, wellness, and sport.
The destination is served by Red Sea International, a dedicated airport offering direct access to The Red Sea and its surrounding islands.

Upon full completion in 2030, The Red Sea will include 50 resorts and more than 1,000 residences across 22 islands and six inland locations — transforming the region into a truly liveable coastal address.
Offered through the Red Sea Residences portfolio, Nujuma is more than a second home; it’s an opportunity to live within a protected ecosystem, shaped by design, powered 100% by renewable energy, and grounded in a vision for the future. For those seeking a meaningful connection to place, it’s where coastal living quietly begins again.

Perched in the Nevada desert, Tombolo is conceived as a bridge between opposites, geometric and organic, grounded and ethereal.
Conceived by the acclaimed architecture and interiors studio of Daniel Joseph Chenin, its name comes from the rare landform that links island to mainland, a metaphor of connection and unity that informs every decision. More than a residence, Tombolo is a poetic convergence of land, light, and lived experience.
The desert itself is the generator of form. Shaped by extremes of sun, wind, and temperature swings, the architecture rises as a composition of buttress-like stone ribs that both anchor the home and stabilize it environmentally. These monolithic elements absorb heat by day and release it at night, while their sculptural orientation casts deep, protective shadows that choreograph light across the façade. Elevated slightly above the desert floor, the building asserts a rhythmic, Art Decoinspired presence that is at once monumental and finely tuned to the fragility of its setting.
Approach is treated as a disciplined procession. The transition from raw landscape to architecture unfolds as a cinematic sequence of compression and release, where texture, proportion, and shadow set the tempo. What begins as an encounter with mass and light resolves into a layered reading of structure and space, a gradual reveal that privileges movement as the medium of experience. Within, the interiors expand upon the Art Deco rigor of the exterior, reinterpreting classical rhythms and proportions through a modern lens. What could have been austere

becomes sensory-rich and human-scaled. Stone and warm wood absorb shifting daylight, polished surfaces catch fleeting glimmers, and aligned geometries carry the architecture inward. Vertical rhythms, shadow lines, and deliberate material transitions create continuity between outside and in, transforming structural strength into lived experience and dissolving the boundary between monumentality and intimacy.
Environmental responsiveness is inseparable from expression. Deep overhangs and vertical fins calibrate shade and light. Orientation and thermal mass provide passive cooling. Green roof elements soften the silhouette and bolster insulation. Locally and regionally sourced materials, from stone to oak to patinated metals, root the work in its context. Every element is both technical and poetic, performing while it speaks.

“There’sanemotionalrhythmtothishome,” says Daniel Joseph Chenin. “A sense of breath, expansiveandintimate, monumentaland personal.” That rhythm is choreographed through circulation and sightline, turning passage into discovery and space into story.
Ultimately, Tombolo is an inhabitable meditation on connection. It fuses elemental architecture with refined interior experience, transforming desert living into a dialogue between land and light, structure and sensation, solidity and grace. Like the landform for which it is named, Tombolo stands as a bridge, between environment and emotion, architecture and art, shelter and memory.

Accouter, the international award-winning design studio, has revealed one of its most significant commissions to date: The Penthouse at The Bryanston, Hyde Park, a development of just 54 private residences designed by the late architect Rafael Viñoly is for sale on the most important corner of Hyde Park.
Situated across the top three floors of this iconic address, the 7,763 square foot residence, with a further 1,403 square feet of private terrace, offers rare, extraordinary 360-degree views across the city and historic park from sunrise to sunset. Rising 250 feet above street level, it is the highest private residence overlooking Hyde Park.
Commissioned by Almacantar, the five-bedroom penthouse is conceived as both sanctuary and statement. Accouter’s brief was clear, to craft a space of enduring beauty that captures the seasonal tones of Hyde Park, while elevating the experience of urban living.
The design draws inspiration from the ever-changing landscape of Hyde Park, capturing the colours and textures of the seasons. Every detail is thoughtfully curated to evoke a sense of warmth, refined elegance, and a deep connection to place. From the soft gold leaf veining at the entrance designed by Benjamin Raymond, to the suede-lined corridors and mapletoned joinery, the interiors offer a sensory experience that unfolds with grace.
Texture and craftsmanship underpin the design narrative. A Shuster and Moseley glass installation, framed by a sculptural
curved staircase, rises through the core of the home.
In the elegant reception, The Penthouse’s grand scale, abundant natural light, and soaring threemetre ceilings come together to present each room as a harmonious composition of form and function. A five-metre curved sofa, created onsite to echo the building’s architecture, balances a marble fireplace and custom joinery. The dining room, anchored by a bespoke onyx table and goldlined Crystalline chandelier by artisan Olivia Faire, offers a setting designed for both private and formal entertaining.

There is no singular aesthetic here, only design that responds to context, and craftsmanship that serves both beauty and function. From the bronze velvet kitchen banquette
to the bespoke furniture pieces by Simon Cabrol, each element has been chosen or commissioned to reflect the individuality of this oneof-a-kind home.

The principal suite, at nearly 3,000 sq ft, is one of the highest and most expansive private bedroom suites in the West End. Spanning the entire 18th floor, it offers

sweeping, uninterrupted views over Hyde Park and across the rooftops of London, all while remaining completely private and secluded.
The Play Bouclé Armchair by award-winning designer Dmitriy Kozinenko anchors the space, its organic form and tactile finish embodying quiet artistry. Further suites continue this natural rhythm,

offering soft palettes and crafted details designed for retreat.

The Bryanston Penthouse stands as a defining expression of the studio’s philosophy, that true luxury lies in thoughtful detail, sensory balance, and the quiet confidence of meaningful design. The property is offered with a guide price of £70 million, which includes all interior furnishings and excludes artwork.

This elegant London flat, set within the prestigious Chelsea Barracks development, was designed for a returning client who sought a sophisticated yet welcoming pied-à-terre for her young family’s visits to the city.
The brief was clear: to inject personality and warmth into the apartment while crafting a calm retreat from the bustle of central London.
Rebecca and her team introduced bespoke joinery throughout – not only to discreetly house mechanical elements such as air conditioning and integrated televisions, but also to maximise storage and bring architectural interest to each room. A refined, contemporary palette was chosen with her son in mind, striking a balance between clean minimalism and a warm, familyfriendly atmosphere.
One of the standout spaces is the open-plan living area. Originally long and narrow, they carefully zoned it to create distinct kitchen, dining, and living areas. An antique
mirror wall anchors the space, adding both depth and a touch of timeless character.
Art plays a pivotal role in the design narrative. The client’s playful and vibrant collection – featuring works from Rise Art and Cricket Fine Art – inspired bold accents and nuanced tones throughout the flat. Materiality and craftsmanship were also key.
Rebecca Hughes Interiors
collaborated with a curated list of British and international suppliers, including de Le Cuona, Hector Finch, Turnell & Gigon, Robert Stephenson Rugs, Schumacher, and GP & J Baker. Much of the furniture, from the dining table to the cabinetry and sofa, was designed in-house, ensuring each piece was tailored specifically to the proportions and spirit of the apartment.
With a global portfolio of projects spanning sumptuous country estates, vibrant contemporary

townhouses, and sophisticated commercial spaces including boutiques and hotels, Rebecca Hughes Interiors has recently completed high-profile design commissions throughout the UK, Central Europe, India, and Malaysia.

Comfort is Key. That was the main directive in Patrick Knowles Designs’ refit work on the 132’ Benetti Motor Yacht PATIENCE.

The owner’s desire was to enhance the onboard experience for family, friends, and charter guests, prioritizing sumptuous sleeping accommodations and a sleek, uncluttered aesthetic.
As a foundation for the minimal but warm ambiance, Patrick Knowles wove a stunning custom gray hue
through the design sketches, with vivid sophisticated orange accents that offer vibrant pops of color without taking away from the space.
With sleeping comfort of the utmost importance to the owner, the renovation focused on converting two lower deck cabins.

These cabins, formerly queen cabins, now both feature king-sized berths, ensuring the sweetest of dreams. For even more space, the bridge deck gym was repurposed into a sixth en suite cabin. This cabin boasts large windows that invite an abundance of natural light and expansive views.

The master suite is also outfitted with new furnishings and design accents aligning with the yacht’s refined, tailored interior look, while in a request by the owner, the two lower deck twin cabins break the serene color scheme by sporting vivid accents of turquoise, fuschia and orange.
Each of the six sleeping spaces have been revitalized with new beds, headboards, and bespoke decor, ensuring every detail contributes

to an atmosphere of unparalleled comfort and luxury.
Completing the interior refit, the design includes new flooring and cabinetry in the galley, alongside a comprehensive update of the furnishings in the skylounge, pairing the chic gray color scheme seen throughout the interior with a serene palette of taupe and cream.
Externally, the yacht’s decks have been redesigned for ultimate
relaxation and enjoyment. The bridge aft deck features a new sweeping curved sectional, perfect for social gatherings with panoramic water views. The sun deck has been transformed into a resort-like haven with chaises, lounge chairs, and a fully upholstered sunbed offering flexible lounging options.
The pièce de résistance is a glass bar ledge with aft-facing barstools on the sun deck, providing guests with a memorable spot to enjoy cocktails with clear views of the sea.
Motoryacht Patience is available for charter through IYC.

In the world of ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), few assets symbolise luxury and prestige like a superyacht. These floating palaces, often costing tens or hundreds of millions, are not just vessels but complex legal entities requiring specialised expertise. John Leonida, Of Counsel at Wordley Partnership, is a pioneer in superyacht law, bringing decades of experience to an industry where glamour meets intricate legal challenges. In an exclusive interview, Leonida shares his journey, insights, and the unique complexities of advising some of the world’s wealthiest individuals - or, as he clarifies, “theecosystem that surrounds” them.
Leonida’s path to becoming a leading figure in superyacht law was anything but conventional. “Mybackgroundwasnotinlaw andcertainlywasnotinthe maritime world,” he explains. Originally an economist with the UK Foreign Office’s Overseas Development Administration, Leonida requalified as a lawyer at 34, joining Clyde & Co as a banking and ship finance solicitor. A series of serendipitous events in 1998 led him to pivot from advising on tugs and LNG carriers to superyachts. By 40, he was a partner and likely the first lawyer to market himself as a superyacht lawyer, and establishing a recognised discipline. “IbelieveIchanged that narrative,” he says proudly.

Superyachts, as Leonida notes, are often misunderstood as “waterborne motor cars” when they are, in fact, “floatingreal estate.” This misconception leads many owners - often firsttime yacht buyers - to overlook the need for specialised legal advice. “I’veoftenquestioned ownersastowhytheybought orcommissionedasuperyacht withoutspecialist, orindeed any, legaladvice,” Leonida says. “Even the most astute business peoplehavereliedonthose sellingthedream.”

At Wordley Partnership, a firm renowned for its work in professional sports and high-profile reinsurance cases, Leonida finds parallels between superyachts and other high-stakes industries. “At theverycoreofbothworldsare often well-known individuals with publicprofiles, doingsomething thatwillbecommenteduponby thosewhopresumetoknowthem,” he explains. The high value and public scrutiny of superyachts create “distinct risk profiles” that go beyond standard maritime or business considerations.
While Leonida hesitates to call superyacht law more complex than other legal fields, he emphasises its unpredictability. “In transactions of thevalueyouseeinthesuperyacht world, inanyotherbusinessarena, youwouldhaveexperienced counterparties,” he says. Yet, superyacht deals often involve one highly experienced party (such as a builder or broker) and an inexperienced owner, leading to “assumptionsandpresumptions ofrightsandobligationsbased on misunderstood law.” Leonida’s role often involves “unpicking the complex relationships” and addressing decisions driven by selfinterest and misplaced trust rather than legal logic.
His caseload reflects the diversity of the field: from straightforward maritime conveyancing (the sale and purchase of superyachts) to negotiating new-build contracts that balance the interests of builders, designers, and owners, or resolving disputes over whether a yacht meets specifications, is delivered late, or performs as promised. “One memorable case I had,” tells Leonida, “saw an owner’s teamcompromisesomuchthat theysimplydidnotgettheyacht theywanted, andtherewereno consequencesforthebuilder.”
To navigate this dynamic field, Leonida relies on a robust network of industry decision-makers and a broad perspective. “It’s about maintaininganetworkofkey decision-makersonspeeddial butalsosteppingoutsidethe superyachtechochamber,” he says, drawing on insights from shipping, aviation, and international politics. This interdisciplinary approach ensures he stays ahead of trends and challenges in an industry where the stakes - financial, reputational, and legal - are immense.
Leonida is candid about the public’s perception of superyachts and their owners. “There are no misconceptions, thereareopinions which we don’t like,” he asserts. He challenges the industry’s belief that highlighting the economic benefits of superyachts - such as job creation - would soften

criticism. “Thattheoryisbasedon flawedandsimplistictrickle-down economics,” he argues, noting that big motor yachts are often seen as “emblematic of the isolation and entitlement of the 1%.” He points to the media frenzy around Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding, where their yacht became a lightning rod for criticism, unlike sailing superyachts, which attract less scrutiny.
Among his proudest achievements, Leonida highlights his role in shaping the contracts that govern superyacht transactions. “Irarely pickupacontractwhichdoesnot have a clause or two that did not startasaninkedscrawlonalegal notepadinmyofficemanyyears ago,” he reflects. His advocacy for ethical practices, once controversial, is now standard in the industry, a testament to his influence.
Leonida’s days are a blend of discipline and adaptability. “It alwaysstartswithcoffeeand readingTheGuardian,” he shares, followed by a workout and meditation. His work involves legal and academic reading, ensuring client solutions stay on track, liaising with colleagues at Wordley, and addressing unexpected challenges.
Looking ahead, Leonida foresees significant challenges for UHNWIs. “Ithinkwecanexpectfurther aggressiveinitiativestargeting tax avoidance,” he predicts, citing frameworks like the OECD’s Common Reporting Standard. These will increase transparency obligations, complicating privacy and asset protection structures for yacht owners.
John Leonida’s journey from economist to superyacht law pioneer underscores the unique blend of legal acumen, industry insight, and adaptability required to navigate this exclusive world. For UHNWIs dreaming of their own floating masterpiece, his expertise ensures that the dream doesn’t become a legal nightmare.

With the new VanDutch 75 Cantiere del Pardo marks a new chapter for the legendary brand, redefining its design language with a contemporary Mediterranean flair.
The aim is clear: to evolve the unmistakable VanDutch identity into a more sophisticated expression, without losing the brand’s original spirit. The result is a yacht that blends vision with coherence, destined to set the tone for the future of the VanDutch fleet.
The project retains the iconic exterior styling that made VanDutch Yachts a global benchmark in the luxury open segment: low-slung profile, clean geometry, and elegantly balanced proportions now enriched with refined technical details that double as integrated design features. A timeless aesthetic, revisited with purposeful upgrades that enhance both function and form.

The new VanDutch 75 is the result of a meticulous evolution, involving every detail, starting with the exterior areas, which have been completely redesigned to offer new levels of comfort and practicality. The cockpit, spanning 45 square meters, provides exceptional space for socializing and outdoor living. It features two large opposing sofas and a pair of convertible tables arranged symmetrically, together accommodating up to ten guests. The new custom-designed seats, with ribbed upholstery inspired by vintage sports cars, echo the interior style and reinforce the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, underlining a unified and coherent design vision. Completing the outdoor equipment is a Fenix galley top, fully integrated and equipped with a barbecue, two burners, refrigerator, and ice-maker designed to ensure maximum ease of use during extended stays on board.
Among the noteworthy new features is the carbon fiber HardTop, designed to protect the lounge area while preserving the harmony of the yacht’s lines. Its seamless integration into the boat’s profile avoids excessive vertical volume and helps maintain the minimalist and dynamic aesthetic that defines the VanDutch identity.

From a technical and functional standpoint, the VanDutch 75 introduces several innovative solutions: from the integrated door in the windshield, allowing direct and easy access from the cockpit to the bow, to the “invisible” anchor, which elegantly emerges from the hull, eliminating clutter and preserving the clean design. All components are brand-new and made entirely of high-grade stainless steel, a choice that reflects the shipyard’s design philosophy, with no compromises, not even on the smallest details.
Another distinctive element is the natural teak deck, offered for the first time with white caulking,
for a refined and contemporary aesthetic that perfectly aligns with the brand’s spirit.
While classified as an open yacht, the VanDutch 75 incorporates features typically found in cruising vessels, enhancing its uniqueness and versatility: from the up & down swim platform to the tender garage with an integrated launch and recovery system, all supported by a 4,000-liter fuel capacity ideal for long-range navigation. Everything is complemented by intelligent space optimization and a wide range of customization options, ensuring comfort and livability at the highest level.

The newly updated interiors are the work of BurdissoCapponi Yachts&Design, which brings a fresh approach marked by refined materials, bold contrasts, and sophisticated textures. Their design introduces a softer visual language while preserving the clean lines that define the VanDutch aesthetic.
At Cannes, the VanDutch 75 will make its world debut in the “Cool” configuration: a bright, contemporary version featuring pearl burl veneers, matte Slate Black wood accents, beige suede upholstery, and moon-toned Econyl flooring. A second variant, called “Smooth”, will also be available, distinguished by warmer, enveloping tones and centered around “Fulvo” mahogany, adding richness and a welcoming ambiance.
The yacht on display will feature the standard layout, striking a perfect balance between elegance and functionality with a three-cabin configuration designed for maximum comfort in a setting of discreet luxury. The night area is primarily located aft, with the owner’s suite to

starboard and a twin guest cabin to port, both with en-suite heads featuring premium finishes and generous volumes for enhanced privacy and comfort. Forward, completely separate from the guest quarters, is the VIP cabin, bright and spacious, with a dualaccess bathroom that also serves as a day head for the main living area. At the heart of onboard life is a generous open-space dinette with an American-style galley, large lounge area, and convertible table, perfect for both entertaining and relaxation. Completing the configuration is a fully independent crew cabin aft, with separate access, private facilities, and a well-equipped technical zone that ensures seamless management without interfering with guest spaces.
The VanDutch 75 sets the tone for a new stylistic era. Several elements introduced on this model will shape the future VanDutch “family identity”. Among them: the signature hull-side window that enhances the profile with a refined decorative touch; the

horizontal lacquered slat ceiling panels that elegantly conceal the air conditioning system; and the custom-designed track lighting, specifically developed for marine use.
The high-end materials — such as burl veneers, dark woods, matte metals, and brushed copper —are treated with a modern, cohesive aesthetic that defines a new stylistic vocabulary to be carried forward across the VanDutch range. Reinforcing the project’s customizable nature, multiple finish and palette options will be available to create a uniquely personal onboard atmosphere, tailored to the owner’s lifestyle and preferences.
With its iconic styling, forwardthinking features, and advanced performance, thanks to triple Volvo Penta IPS propulsion capable of pushing the yacht up to 40 knots, the VanDutch 75 establishes itself as a true design icon, symbolizing the brand’s evolution under the leadership of Cantiere del Pardo.

Q: Your music—particularly In the Shadow of Time and Colours of Time—deals with profound philosophical themes. How did your interest in metaphysics and Kabbalah influence these songs?
A: Kabbalah and my research into the Kabbalah of Information radically changed my understanding and perception of reality—and of myself.
Almost all my lyrics are shaped by this mystical journey. Music is an alternative form of communication compared to speech. Through speech, we express conscious thoughts in a compressed form; through music, we express subconscious feelings. The combination of music and lyrics allows us to express both the conscious and subconscious together.
Kabbalah affects you in the same way—your consciousness and subconsciousness. My ambition has been to express, through music and lyrics, the mystical perceptions of
our reality—of God and man, life and death, time, space, love, and more.
My motto is: “Musicofthemystic, mysticsofthemusic.”
Q: What does “the shadow of time” represent to you personally? Is it rooted in fear, mystery, or something else?
A: In the Shadow of Time is about the concept of time itself. Time is a mysterious notion—science still doesn’t know what time truly is. We can’t consciously comprehend it: not time, not eternity (the absence of time), nor even the flow of time. We grasp it only partially, at the subconscious level.
It’s similar to abstract expressionism or surrealism. I would say that time is the veil that separates us from God—from eternity. We are puzzled and tormented by it.
Q: You’ve said, “The Colours of Time could be different—black, white, red… but I definitely loathe grey.” Could you elaborate on what grey symbolizes for you?
A: Why did God create colours? The obvious answer is: so we can see
the boundaries between different substances. But colours are also a form of communication—they affect our state of mind on the subconscious level.
Kabbalists attributed colours to different information concepts: red for judgment and might, green for loving-kindness, white for mercy, and so on.
We associate time with a sequence of events made up of these informational concepts. That’s why I refer to the Colours of Time—a radically new concept.
Now you may understand why I loathe grey time.
Q: The Shyfrin Alliance brings together some of France’s top session musicians. What drew you to collaborate with them, and how do they contribute to your vision?
A: In 2020, I settled in the South of France and resumed vocal, piano, and guitar lessons. My vocal tutor was Lizzy Parks, a brilliant jazz singer. In 2022, I started writing songs, but I had no connections in the music world.

I offered Lizzy the position of General Manager of the Shyfrin Alliance. She introduced me to Fred Luzignant, a very talented arranger, who then connected me with the best studios in Paris and top French rock musicians.
My goal was to produce music of the highest quality.
Q: How would you describe the sound of the new album to someone who’s never heard your music before?
A: My new album, In the Shadow of Time, consists of seven rock-blues compositions.
Q: You live between Monaco, Knightsbridge, and Cap Ferrat. How do these environments shape or inspire your music?
A: It’s hard to say exactly, but I’m deeply influenced by the sea and by the night. Many of my ideas— musical, lyrical, or connected to the Kabbalah of Information—came to me during night walks or walks along the seashore.
I’m also finalising a jazz album titled Mystical You, which contains six compositions—all of them inspired by the Côte d’Azur and Paris.
Q: You’re a highly successful businessman and author. What made you take the leap into creating music professionally?
A: We are made in the image and likeness of God. He created everything, and so we have the desire to create—at our own level.
As it’s written in Ecclesiastes: “There is a time and a season for everything.”
Q: Has your approach to business influenced how you manage or conceptualise your musical career?
A: Many people wish to create something, but either never start or give up too quickly. I’m a businessman—I’ve launched many projects from scratch and seen them through to completion.

It’s the same with music. If I decide to do something, I follow through— no matter what.
Q: Many people pursue artistic passions later in life. What advice would you give to someone who wants to reinvent themselves creatively?
A: My advice is simple: the reward for creativity is creativity itself.
Trust yourself, move forward, and enjoy the journey.
Q: Is there a unifying concept or story that ties all the tracks together on this album?
A: Abstract expressionism is a message from the subconscious— and accordingly, it can only be truly understood at the subconscious level.
That’s also true of my compositions.

Welcome to the Maze. Prepare to be amazed. Or amused. Or bemused. Hold tight for a ride into meaning… lessness. And remember. The Maze is not as strange as the maze you’re in….
