From the movements to cases and bracelets, from design to the choice of materials, the latest creations offered by Rolex attest to undiminished creative spirit, constantly elevated standards, and an unswerving desire to push back the limits of excellence. IMAGINATION IN MOVEMENT
JEWELLERY & WATCHES
THE LANDDWELLER OPENING NEW HORIZONS Reinventing the present lays foundations for the future. Rolex begins a new chapter in its history with the Oyster Perpetual LandDweller. This most contemporary watch represents the culmination of the brand’s expertise today, fruit of more than a century of experience in watchmaking. The Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller is designed for those well-grounded men and women who build their own destinies, seeing opportunity in every moment. Fitted with a bracelet that flows seamlessly from the case and is almost indistinguishable from it, this streamlined watch boasts a revolutionary calibre. Featuring an escapement with an innovative architecture and a new state-ofthe-art oscillator, the movement was designed to beat at the high frequency of 5 Hz and deliver
superlative performance in all circumstances. No fewer than 32 patent applications and patents pertain to the Land-Dweller, of which 18 are exclusive to this watch. Integrating many horological accomplishments, conceived by the far-thinkers who are mapping out the future of watchmaking, the Land-Dweller is the watch of those who, today, are already designing tomorrow’s world.
INNOVATION IN MOVEMENT The Land-Dweller is equipped with calibre 7135, entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. This avantgarde, self-winding movement includes major innovations for which 16 patent applications have been filed. Although thinner than the majority of Rolex movements, it nonetheless delivers outstanding performance.
15
Dynapulse, a revolutionary escapement The most significant innovation in calibre 7135 is the Dynapulse escapement, a ground-breaking alternative to the traditional Swiss lever escapement. In this sequential distribution escapement, for which seven patent applications have been filed, power is transmitted through a rolling motion. A transmission wheel, connected to the barrel, drives two specially designed distribution wheels. These wheels in turn activate an impulse rocker that sustains the oscillations of the balance wheel. Benefiting from an innovative architecture and comprising mainly silicon components, the Dynapulse escapement brings many advantages: its components are very lightweight, it is virtually insensitive to magnetic fields, and it offers substantially greater energy efficiency compared to traditional escapements.

State-of-the-art oscillator The oscillator of calibre 7135 is resistant to strong magnetic fields, thanks to the materials from which its components are made. It is equipped with a balance wheel in optimized brass and a balance staff whose material and fabrication posed a challenge to develop. This patented balance staff is made of a new high-tech ceramic, exclusive to Rolex, and is sculpted by laser – a first for the brand. The optimized Paraflex shock absorbers, located
at each end of the balance staff, enhance the shock resistance of the movement in any position.
NEW PERSPECTIVES
harmony has drawn inspiration from the boldest of contemporary aesthetics, sketching out new perspectives.
With a resolutely modern touch, the Land-Dweller reinterprets the design of watches with integrated bracelets. Explored first in 1969 with the Rolex Quartz, and again in 1974 on a Datejust with selfwinding movement, it is a design where, aesthetically, bracelet and case meld perfectly in a smooth continuous line. Frequency of 5 Hz Incorporating a Syloxi hairspring in silicon, the oscillator beats at a steady 36,000 beats per hour, or a frequency of 5 Hz, measuring time to a tenth of a second. This rate notably allows the watch to maintain its chronometric precision whatever the wearer’s actions and arm movements. Although
Featuring a dial with graphic appeal – a timeless, nature-inspired honeycomb motif – the LandDweller is offered in two diameters, 36 mm and 40 mm. It is available in a white Rolesor version or in 18 ct Everose gold with an intense white dial, and in 950 platinum with an ice blue dial.
higher frequencies demand greater energy, calibre 7135 guarantees a comfortable power reserve of around 66 hours, thanks to the Dynapulse escapement. In addition to its exceptional performance, the refined aesthetics of calibre 7135 are particularly pleasing, and the gleaming yellowgold oscillating weight and delicate Rolex Côtes de Genève decoration on the bridges can be admired through the transparent case back.
Flat Jubilee bracelet and restyled Oyster case A bracelet that appears to be one with the case: the effect of continuity between these two elements underlies the concept of this new watch. Entirely redesigned, the particularly fine lines of the Oyster case are drawn out into the silhouette of a new bracelet: the Flat Jubilee. The fluid elegance of the whole is accentuated by the interplay of the finishings – technical satin finish and polishing.
The polished chamfering on the top edges of the bracelet and case catches the light, producing a ribbon of reflections. Honeycomb motif dial The identity of the Land-Dweller is fully revealed by careful observation of the dial details. Framed by an angled flange, the watch face features a geometric pattern in the form of a honeycomb motif in subtle relief. On the versions with a Chromalight display, the open numerals and index hour markers are luminescent, granting optimal legibility in any situation. The hands are also luminescent and have been specially designed for the watch. At once sleek, elegant, technical and contemporary, the Land-Dweller is bestowed with a universal personality that makes it the perfect watch for every occasion.
ONCE UPON A FIRST TIME A ceramic dial. A dedicated seven-piece link bracelet. Original combinations of materials, colours and finishings. So many firsts in the history of Rolex come as an invitation to look afresh at some of the brand’s iconic models. This year’s creations spark a palette of new sensations, thanks to the expertise found across all departments at Rolex. A manufactory of emotions rooted in a multitude of achievements, made possible by the in-house technical knowledge and skill in all aspects of watchmaking.
THE GMT-MASTER II The perfect match Rolex has chosen to introduce its very first ceramic dial on an 18 ct white gold version of the Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II. In the same material, with the same green colour and the same lustre, this Cerachrom dial and the daytime half of the green and black bezel insert echo each other perfectly. Betokening the technical prowess of the brand’s engineers, this visual harmony stems from the mastery of high-technology ceramic: the dial and the bezel insert are made of exactly the same material. This new dial makes its debut on a
GMT-Master II with the winding crown on the left, similarly to the introduction of the green and black bezel insert in 2022. The version presented this year is fitted on an Oyster bracelet with an Oysterlock safety clasp. Thanks to the additional hand that displays a second time zone, the GMT-Master II helps travellers to attune the changing times on their journey to the immutable temporality of others. In its new version with a perfect pairing of dial and bezel, this watch continues to foster interconnectedness, inviting permanency regardless of distance and time differences.

THE OYSTER PERPETUAL A fresh look A muted lavender, a warm sandy beige and a fresh pistachio green. The Oyster Perpetual is graced with new faces in an array of colours that celebrate the meeting of pastel shades, vibrant lacquering and a smooth, matt finish. The lavender dial is available on the Oyster Perpetual 28 and the beige dial on the Oyster Perpetual 36. The pistachio dial is presented on the Oyster Perpetual 41, a model whose proportions have been slightly reworked, introducing a redesigned case and a slimmer Oysterclasp. The soft new dial colours that have joined the range in tandem with the flowing lines of the new Oyster Perpetual 41 reaffirm the original promise of the Oyster – to be a simple, reliable and robust watch that looks good on every wrist; a watch whose infinite variety of faces continually suggest exciting new possibilities.
THE 1908 The geometry of elegance Rarely has solid gold felt so supple and light on the wrist. The Perpetual 1908 in 18 ct yellow gold is now available on a bracelet fashioned entirely in this precious metal. An innovative geometry endows this seven-piece link bracelet with refinement and comfort in all-round elegance. The scintillating Settimo bracelet, composed of very small links, is the

first metal bracelet dedicated to the 1908. Its exquisite construction and slightly contoured links, polished on every surface, produce a sublime and sparkling display of reflected light. Equipped with a concealed Crownclasp, its well-proportioned design evokes the jewelleryinspired bracelets of some vintage watches. It therefore captures the original spirit of the 1908, conceived in homage to watchmaking tradition.

THE DATEJUST Light and shade Just like the last rays of the sun piercing the horizon at nightfall, the dial of the new Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 presents a communion of light and shade. The red ombré dial displays a subtle transition between the fire at its centre and a deep darkness at its edge – a chiaroscuro enhanced by the sparkling diamonds set on the bezel and dial. This is the first time that Rolex offers a red ombré dial, a colour that is highly complex to obtain via the process of PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition). The brand’s dial-making expertise, coupled with the craftsmanship of its master gem-setters, engenders a watch dial that comes alive and shows different faces according to the intensity of daylight or the evening’s shadows. This exclusive dial is presented on the Datejust 31 in 18 ct yellow gold.

The GMT-Master II in 18 ct Everose gold with a Cerachrom bezel insert in brown and black ceramic is now available with a dial in tiger iron. This metamorphic rock, used by Rolex for the first time, is characterized by its complex structure. Composed of three minerals – tiger’s eye, red jasper and hematite – it is a natural stone that pulses with golden and orangey tints, which, following painstaking selection and meticulous assembly, marry harmoniously with the colours of the case and bracelet.

For the first time, the Sky-Dweller brings together two of the brand’s iconic colours, juxtaposing a sunray-finished, bright green dial with a case and bracelet in 18 ct yellow gold. This radiant dial together with the resplendent reflections from the fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet result in an exceptionally exuberant watch.

AUDEMARS PIGUET REVEALS A NEW SHADE OF CERAMIC EVOKING THE SKY OF THE VALLÉE DE JOUX Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer Audemars Piguet is happy to unveil a new ceramic shade inspired by the iconic “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” colour developed in 1972 to adorn the dial of the first Royal Oak (Model 5402).
Drawing its distinctive radiance from the night sky of the Vallée de Joux – a source of creativity for generations of watchmakers – this deep blue hue now graces ceramic to dress three models from the Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore collections. Developed over several years, this material achieves the challenge of maintaining a uniform colour throughout all watch components. These three timepieces showcase the Manufacture’s relentless quest for innovation in terms of design and materials, in tribute to the region of Le Brassus where Audemars Piguet was founded 150 years ago.

LOOKING TO THE SKY FOR INSPIRATION The measurement of time finds its origins in the astronomical observations that have consistently guided watchmakers in their quest for precision. Gazing at the sky, they have examined the movements of stars and the Moon for centuries, seeking to reflect them in their creations. Known for its clarity, the Vallée de Joux’s night sky has inspired generations of watchmakers since the 18th century, fostering the development of some of the world’s most prestigious complications.

evolution, allowing the creation of art and decoration, and becoming more durable and resistant with time. Taking various forms across cultures, ceramic became porcelain in China, earthenware in Italy or France, and glazed in Islamic traditions. The Industrial Revolution propelled ceramic into a new era of innovation, enabling serial production. Ongoing research into this material eventually leads to the development of ceramics with groundbreaking properties, inaugurating new applications each day, and subsequently introducing it into fields as diverse as construction, aeronautics, electronics, medicine, telecommunications, robotics… and watchmaking. Beyond the movement of celestial bodies, the shade of the region’s clear night sky has also nurtured the imagination and creativity of Audemars Piguet artisans. It was this deep blue hue that inspired Gérald Genta to replicate it for the dial of the first Royal Oak in 1972 (Model 5402). At the time, the Geneva-based dial maker Stern developed the “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” colour by adding black pigment n°50 to the protective varnish (called Zapon). The “cloud” effect is said to come from the chemical reaction produced by the small amount of black colour poured into the liquid lacquer.
is now one of the brand’s signature elements. The launch of this new ceramic is a tribute to both the region and its talents, and to our relentless quest for innovation.” Ilaria Resta – Chief Executive Officer, Audemars Piguet
Recreating this blue colour is a complex process, as the shade varies depending on the duration and temperature of the galvanic bath. Today, “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” dials are obtained using a PVD (Physical Vapour Desposition) process to ensure a homogenous colour. Whether due to its complexity or the enthusiasm surrounding the first Royal Oak model, the “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” hue has since become as iconic as the timepiece itself.
The “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” ceramic joins the black, electric blue, green and brown hues already available in the collections, furthering the Manufacture’s enduring tradition of innovation in terms of materials and design.
“The sky of the Vallée de Joux has played a key role in the history of Audemars Piguet, inspiring the colour ‘Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50’, which

Lightweight and resistant to scratches yet challenging to machine due to its extreme hardness, ceramic has been part of the brand’s offering since 1986. However, this material is among the oldest of humanity, dating back to the Neolithic period when it was used as potteries for practical purposes. Since then, it has undergone a spectacular
Applying the “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” shade to ceramic required several years of development to guarantee a homogenous hue throughout the watch and to ensure that it could be reproduced. Each watch component undergoes numerous production stages including machining, sintering and finishing. This final step is carried out by hand with the extreme care and dexterity of Audemars Piguet artisans, who grant ceramic components the same high-end level of finishing as precious metals, despite their hard and breakable nature. The depth of colour is further embellished by the alternating polished and satin-brushed surfaces that create plays of light and highlight the multifaceted architecture of the Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore cases. Combining high-tech machining with traditional handfinishing, this unique material brings together a wide range of modern watchmaking skills.
“Developments and innovations in the field of ceramic are at the heart of Audemars Piguet’s projects, as the company continues to push the limits of its expertise in terms of colour – especially by dressing all watch components in the iconic ‘Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50’ hue.” Thibaut Le Loarer – Head of Research, Audemars Piguet

The watch beats to the rhythm of Calibre 4404, an integrated selfwinding chronograph with a column wheel and flyback function that allows it to restart instantly without having to stop or reset it first. In addition to revealing the movement’s refined decorations and the dedicated pink gold oscillating weight, the sapphire caseback offers a unique view of the column wheel’s inner workings, bringing together aesthetic refinement and watchmaking excellence.
THREE MODELS IN “BLEU NUIT, NUAGE 50” The 41 mm Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked model is entirely crafted in “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” ceramic. This monochromatic aesthetic gives centre stage to the rhodium-toned openworked movement placed at dial level below the sapphire crystal, creating a striking visual contrast enhanced by pink gold details such as the hands and hourmarkers. Powered by selfwinding Calibre 3132, this timepiece features the double balance wheel mechanism patented by AP in 2016, which provides the watch with enhanced precision and stability. By incorporating two balance wheels and two hairsprings assembled on the same axis, the system oscillates in perfect synchrony. Visible from both the dial and the caseback, the mechanism offers a privileged view of the watch’s beating heart, while the openworked bridges reveal some components of the gear train. V-angles, this timepiece epitomises Audemars Piguet’s uncompromising spirit. The 42 mm Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph presents a more sportive monochromatic aesthetic. Its ceramic components echo the “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” hue of the inner bezel, Méga Tapisserie dial, and chronograph counters. The homogenous aesthetic is subtly contrasted by the eight hexagonal screws in stainless steel punctuating the bezel, as well as the titanium crown chip and caseback. Complementing these elements, the luminescent 18-carat white gold hands and hour-markers enhance readability. Just like the AP monogram, they stand out from the motif of dial, while the chronograph indications, tachymeter scale, and date indication appear in white on a blue background. The chronograph counters retain the collection’s emblematic vertical alignment, displaying the hours at 12 o’clock, minutes at 9 o’clock and small seconds at 6 o’clock. With this model, the collection also welcomes a brand-new ceramic bracelet, whose pins connecting the studs to the links are now seamlessly integrated for an elegant rendering.
Finally, the 43 mm Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph boasts a two-toned design, combining stainless steel with “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” ceramic on the bezel, push-pieces and crown, for a powerful colour contrast that extends to the dial. With its “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” Méga Tapisserie pattern accentuating the timepiece’s robust silhouette, it serves as a perfect backdrop for the 18-carat hands and hour-markers filled with luminescent material.
JEWELLERY & WATCHES
The chronograph indications and tachymeter scale are printed in white to offer optimum readability. Powered by Calibre 4401, the timepiece features a minute counter at 9 o’clock, an hour counter at 3 o’clock and a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock, all of which are rendered in a lighter blue hue enhancing readability and contrast, while the white gold AP monogram is displayed at 12 o’clock. The caseback’s sapphire crystal reveals the flyback chronograph movement’s refined decorations along with the rhodium-toned 22-carat pink gold oscillating weight. Mounted on a textured calfskin leather strap matching the ceramic’s hue, this model is equipped with the interchangeability system and comes with an additional blue rubber strap emphasising the collection’s sportive identity.
29
With the introduction of the new “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” ceramic, Audemars Piguet creates a new link between past and future, paying tribute to the talents that have shaped its history and to the Vallée de Joux where the company has been established for 150 years. “Seek Beyond.”

ZAMBIAN EMERALDS EXUDE HOLLYWOOD GLAMOUR IN ĀZLEE X GEMFIELDS ORIGINS COLLECTION Gemfields has teamed up with Los Angeles-based jewellery label ĀZLEE to create Origins, an eight-piece capsule collection inspired by the landscape of Zambia and its world-renowned emeralds.
Comprising rings, necklaces, pendant charms and earrings, all featuring responsibly mined gems from Gemfields’ Kagem mine, this brand-new collaboration is like a love letter to these iconic green jewels, which are forever synonymous with the sense of hope and renewal associated with spring.
Gemfields is a world-leading responsible miner and marketer of coloured gemstones and the majority-owner and operator of both Kagem in Zambia (thought to be the world’s largest producing emerald mine) and the Montepuez ruby mine in Mozambique. Gemfields strives to be a leader within the industry and aims to bring benefit to the gemstones’ places of origin: mining with transparency, legitimacy and integrity and funding initiatives to improve local community health, education and livelihoods. Founded by Baylee Zwart in 2015, ĀZLEE takes its inspiration from ancient jewellery practices, Art Deco architecture and the natural world to form a singular design vision. Mindful of adhering to responsible practices and minimising its environmental impact, ĀZLEE creates timeless, high-quality jewellery infused with nature and a sense of 1980s glamour. Versatile and modern, ĀZLEE designs have been worn by Emma Watson, Rihanna, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Zoë Kravitz and Scarlett Johansson.

pieces in the Origins collection use a spread of diamond pave to accentuate the colourful beauty of the emeralds, while the lines and shapes of the pieces echo the patterns of Zambia’s mountains and rivers.
Each piece in the new ĀZLEE x Gemfields Origins collection was crafted in the Los Angeles atelier by master jewellers, using recycled 18k gold, with a portion of proceeds from each sale being donated to charities supporting efforts to rebuild following the fires that devastated the Los Angeles area at the start of this year. Previous collections have supported marine conservation charities. Describing the collaboration with Gemfields, Zwart explains: “To frame the emeralds, I chose our core sculptural element, the staircase, which was inspired by the architecture of ancient structures and pyramids. I explored new iterations, playing with softer profiles of this concept to nod to Zambia’s winding rivers.” Many
The Contour Emerald Pave Diamond Ring nods to the Art Deco past, as do the Staircase 3-Tier Pave and Emerald Hoops. The Fluid Staircase Earrings with Emerald Drops (with or without pave) perfectly showcase ĀZLEE’s signature staircase silhouette. The collection includes two playful charms designed to dangle from a pendant: the Contour Emerald Pave Diamond Charm and Fluid Staircase Emerald Pave Diamond Charm. The two necklaces – the Contour Staircase Emerald Woven Necklace and Le Nouveau Emerald Cascade Necklace – both exude 1980s Hollywood glamour and sophistication.
“We are proud to have partnered with Gemfields to offer our clients pieces that feature high quality gemstones of trusted provenance,” says Zwart. “The arrival of spring this year gives reason to seek a talisman for hope, growth and new beginnings, and Gemfields is delighted to partner with ĀZLEE, whose clever emerald jewellery pieces offer an appealing choice. There’s a softness and warmth to the gold forms that
frame each Zambian emerald, evoking a sense of treasure with unabashed 1980s glamour. The emeralds in each designs are well positioned to dance in the light and radiate optimism - particularly so in the drop earrings - and these desktop-to-dancefloor, boardroom-to-bar designs almost demand to be enjoyed!” says Emily Dungey, Gemfields’ Marketing and Communications Director. The ĀZLEE x Gemfields Origins collection ranges from USD 7,950 to USD 26,000 and is available from 8 April 2025 on ĀZLEE.

MONTBLANC LEATHER COLLECTIONS:
SPRING/SUMMER 2025 – PART TWO Pops of colour, dynamic small shapes and creative leather craftsmanship – Montblanc unveils the second chapter of its Spring/Summer 2025 leather novelties, designed by Artistic Director Marco Tomasetta.
MULTI-LIME CAPSULES Inspired by the touches of green that can be found in Montblanc’s100 Years of Meisterstück brand campaign, the Maison introduces a new multilime colourway in a limited capsule format in two of its key leather collections: Extreme 3.0 and Sartorial.
THE ART OF LUXURY
ISSUE 70 2025
In the contemporary Extreme 3.0 Collection, intended for life of the move and durable style, the vibrant multi-colour effect is crafted through a print technique that adds an almost three-dimensional quality to the leather pieces. The Extreme 3.0 designs reimagined in this multi-lime colour include the Backpack, Sling Bag and Montblanc 142 Bag in mini size, all completed with the mountaineering-inspired M LOCK 4810 buckle in a matching lime green shade. Montblanc’s Sartorial Collection expresses the multi-lime effect through a special hand-crafted process: the lime green colour is first manually applied on cassiscoloured saffiano leather to stain it and then removed with a hot sponge. As a result, the lime green
colour remains in the deepest part of the textured saffiano leather, while the uppermost part reveals the burgundy-hued cassis shade. This eye-catching technique has been applied to the compact Travel Case, in addition to a selection of wallets, card holders and pen pouches.

MEISTERSTÜCK The Meisterstück writing instrument and its recognizable design codes continue to inspire the namesake collection in smooth, brilliant leather. For Spring/Summer 2025, new styles in both mini and larger sizes are in the spotlight, adorned by a cool-toned smoky blue colour with a gradient sfumato effect, a burgundy-hued cassis colour and a new cloudy beige shade, adding a further touch of lightness. The collection’s Messenger shapes are reimagined in a versatile mini size, ideal for styling cross-body, over the shoulder or as a clutch. The play on volume is also expressed through the Meisterstück Document Case, with its regular and mini size recreated in the season’s smoky blue shade.
EXTREME 3.0 – JACQUARD CAPSULE
For elevated workwear, a new Flat Briefcase in black embraces Montblanc’s writing culture heritage with its classic top handle style and diagonal leather detailing inspired by the shape of an envelope. Inside, the bag features a dedicated compartment for a laptop, a zipped pocket for added organization and 2 writing instrument loops.
Well-suited for effortless travel, the Extreme 3.0 Collection is joined by a second capsule collection that features a maximalist, oversized version of its distinctive geometric motif now woven into high-quality, lightweight jacquard fabric. The assortment of key shapes that have been reimagined in this new jacquard identity includes a nod to Montblanc’s origins in the culture of writing: each bag’s design is enhanced by a gradient sfumato effect that elegantly transitions from black to white, echoing the way black ink spreads across crisp white paper. The selection of shapes for the capsule includes the large Montblanc 142 Bag in the 55cm size, the Backpack with M LOCK 4810 buckle, the Messenger with M LOCK 4810 buckle and a Pouch that can be styled under arm or by the wrist strap.

ATELIER CAPSULE A collection that acts as a further testament to Montblanc’s fine leather craftsmanship, the new Atelier capsule features a crocoembossed leather that adds a playful textural dimension to the season’s burgundy-hued cassis shade. The capsule’s design codes are influenced by Montblanc’s rich writing heritage, particularly the recognizable shapes and details of the Meisterstück collection such as the nib-shaped handles.
Created in the season’s cassis colour, the Atelier collection’s pieces notably feature the captivating sfumato effect, for which Montblanc Artistic Director Marco Tomasetta found inspiration from a stained heritage ink bottle. This blurring effect softly transitions from darker colors at the bottom of each piece to lighter tones at the top, evoking the process of ink slowly diffusing into paper. As the effect is manually applied via airbrush on the finished leather product at the end of the production process, each sfumato piece carries its own slightly distinctive finish.
The Atelier capsule gives its unexpected twist to classic Montblanc shapes such as the Business Organizer and the Document Case, while introducing three new designs: a vertical Tote suitable for daily errands or travel, a Mini Bag featuring a sleek elongated shape, and a Round Messenger, offering a slightly larger take on the messenger design with softer outlines.
The Atelier capsule’s small leather assortment adds touches of an orange-toned cayenna shade to the collection and can be seen on a selection of wallets and cardholders, in addition to the cassis colour.

This year’s collection of edits showcases a rich interplay of British craftsmanship, international style, and vintage revival, inviting racegoers to embrace their individuality while paying homage to heritage. Best of British: A continuation of last year’s homage to British design, this edit showcases the finest homegrown talent, from esteemed heritage brands to dynamic highstreet innovators. traditional national dress – which is welcomed within the dress codes – including the Scottish national dress of kilt and sporran, adding a fresh cultural dimension to the event’s renowned dress codes.
Prints & Patterns: A bold and vibrant exploration of pattern and colour, this edit embraces the joyous prints that define Royal Ascot each summer. Stripes, florals, polka dots, statement graphics and appliqué take the spotlight, set against custom-designed backdrops that enhance their dynamic energy. Beyond these defining edits, the Lookbook spotlights key trends for Spring/Summer 2025, including the revival of polka dots, the emergence of matcha green as a leading pastel hue, and the earthy sophistication of Pantone’s Colour of the Year, Mocca Mousse. Luxurious fabrics – silk, ruffles, and sheer layering – further elevate the season’s aesthetic.
Daniel Fletcher commented: “Returning as Creative Director for a second year, I wanted to push the creative boundaries even further, balancing heritage with modernity and encouraging racegoers to see occasion dressing as an expression of individuality. The Archive Edit felt like a natural evolution of last year’s sustainability focus, drawing inspiration from Ascot’s storied style while championing vintage and rental pieces. Meanwhile, Best of British is more vibrant than ever, embracing playful pairings and unexpected twists that highlight the depth of UK fashion. I’m eager to see how racegoers make their own mark on Royal Ascot style in 2025.” Felicity Barnard, CEO, Ascot Racecourse, added: “Royal Ascot is an unparalleled moment in the social and sporting calendar, where tradition and fashion converge and Daniel’s vision for the 2025 Lookbook is a really exciting mix of heritage alongside modern trends. This year’s edits pay homage to everything that Ascot is celebrated for, including the global influences that are shaping contemporary fashion. With a focus on craftsmanship, sustainability, and self-expression, the 2025 Lookbook is designed to inspire racegoers to embrace the art of dressing up while honouring the dress codes that make Royal Ascot so truly special.”

PRIVACY IS THE ULTIMATE LUXURY FOR DISCERNING TRAVELLERS
IN CANADA’S MOST DESIRABLE REGION
For today’s guests, the region is a pure and breathtakingly scenic natural wonderland, where charming towns and villages are peppered among hundreds of sparkling lakes, untouched mountains and rocky outcrops.
In the vast expanse of southeast Canada, the region of Muskoka has long been enjoyed as the discerning traveller’s destination of choice among Canadian nationals, earning it the moniker of the ‘Hamptons of the North’.
Known locally as ‘cottages’, the accommodation around Lake Muskoka and neighbouring Rosseau and Joseph, belie the size and amenities of these magnificent lakefront properties. With private docks, secluded gardens and expansive interiors, they present the ideal solution to families and groups looking for the ultimate luxury in the 21st century - that of total privacy. Jaynes Luxury Rentals
Muskoka, which covers some 4,000km² of territory including an incredible 13,400 km of shoreline encompasses 1,600 lakes and dense woodland, with rock formations dating back 1.5 billion years. The area takes its name from the language of its first inhabitants, the Anishinaabe people. They used the word misquawkie, meaning

‘red earth’, to describe the red clay that lines the bed of Lake Muskoka. Subsequently settled by Europeans from the early 17th century, many present-day private residences date back to the late 1800s and early 1900s, interspersed with modern new-builds although these are restricted by building regulations aimed at preserving nature and avoiding over-development.

a significant holiday rental market and one business leader who has been key in the development of that is Jayne McCaw, owner of Jayne’s Luxury Rentals. In 2013, she identified a gap in the market for a credible and reliable agency that could support homeowners in the area in securing additional bookings for their properties while also delivering the seamless experience sought by high-end clientele. Her goal was and is to deliver five-star hotel services within a home setting. The company currently manages some 300 properties, the majority of which are in and around Muskoka, and Jayne is herself an owner. Having grown up in Sarnia, Ontario close to Lake Huron, and initially pursuing a career in corporate sales and marketing, she established Jayne’s Luxury Rentals in order to meet that gap based on her personal experience of holiday rentals around the world in tandem with the increase in private residences in and around the Muskoka lakes. These stunning private residences include a complete housekeeping and concierge service, with homes kitted out with Jayne’s own collection of linens (reputedly bigger than even the nearest JW Marriott hotel’s supplies), as well as whiteglove service spanning private chefs, exclusive boat tours and more.
Old Woman Island
Jayne’s also champions a host of local suppliers from Muskoka, and across Ontario in order to provide the ultimate authentic and exclusive experience. Guests regularly arrive by floatplane, which has both wheels and floats allowing it to take off from an inland airport and deliver guests directly to the dock of their cottage. Private chefs draw on a wealth of local produce, from craft beers and artisan distilleries to butter tarts (Don’s Bakery in Bala serves up a superb example)
and plenty of fresh produce the area is especially renowned for strawberries, asparagus and rhubarb. While typical cottage stays revolve largely around peace and quiet, lounging lakefront on the dock (typically in a traditional Muskoka wooden chair) with kayaking and hiking for more energetic pursuits, Jayne’s team can organise excursions and activities both onand off-property. From scenic float plane flights, heading to secluded islands for lunch, driving tours around the lakes in classic cars, cookery classes and wine tastings, all are carefully curated to offer a more in-depth immersion in the local culture.

The Club’s two other stylish lounges – the moody, atmospheric Keeping Room and the light filled conservatory, Hogsmire, will be dedicated to connection, business get-togethers, spa experiences and socialising, ensuring each member can create their own individual balance of work and leisure. Hogsmire, derived from the old name for the Gloucester Road nearby, ‘the Hogs Moor’, looking onto a serene vitality pool, has been elevated through the introduction of Hogs, a sophisticated new bar. This caters for a curated club cocktail menu as well as all the regular favourites, for members both in Hogsmire, the pool area and The Keeping Room. The membership options will also include ‘Club Collection’, being available for the Autumn ahead of the opening of The Other House

The Club will offer a curated membership programme, bringing a calendar of world-class events, from private music performances and fashion showcases to personal talks from global business leaders, bespoke dining experiences and partnerships with British icons such as the Royal Albert Hall and the MCC Lords Cricket Club.

BEYOND THE BIRKIN
THE GIFT OF INVESTMENT, AND WHY THE RISE OF LUXURY GIFTS DELIVERS LASTING VALUE Luxury gifting is more than just a beautiful piece of jewellery, a stunning designer handbag or a rare and sought-after vintage wine. A luxury gift can often mean a unique investment, and one that can deliver huge value over time.
The personal luxury market is now worth a huge $387 billion, and in the UK the total revenue from British luxury stands at £81 billion. Now a luxury gift can offer a significant investment, and canny gift buyers are becoming wise to which items will deliver value when later sold.
THE NEW GIFTING PHILOSOPHY Traditionally, luxury gifts were expressions of love, celebration or appreciation. But now, from rare collectibles through to must-have designer bags or jewellery, items are being acquired for savvier reasons - something that’s been noticed by one of London’s leading private gift buyers. Katrina Aleksa, founder of gifting specialist and wrapping service Roxy Wraps, explains: “There’s a growing consciousness among our clients around gift buying. They want to give something meaningful, but also something with longevity that will deliver value over time for a loved one. They’re looking for a piece that tells a story today yet holds value tomorrow, which may not always be necessarily financial value.“

BUILDING ASSETS IN ART One of the biggest shifts in luxury gifting is the growing appreciation for art as both a sentimental gesture and an investment. Aleksa, who is also a respected art advisor and collector, said: “The beauty of gifting art is that it lives on. It becomes part of someone’s home and their story as well as being their estate and something they can pass on.”
THE LIMITED EDITION AND COLLECTIBLE ATTRACTION From limited edition Hermès Birkin bags and rare single malt whiskies to original artworks from bright and emerging artists, luxury gifts are increasingly chosen for their potential to appreciate in value. Collectors and investors alike are now curating gifts that align with their long term financial and aesthetic aspirations.
Auction houses and platforms such as Sotheby’s and Christie’s have amplified this trend as well as showcasing ‘giftable’ objects that double up as sound investments. Auctions have included fine watches to mid-century furniture, with these pieces reflecting a broader movement toward mindful wealth building through luxury.
As art increasingly speaks to identity, taste, and time, it stands out as a deeply personal yet intelligent gifting choice. Art continues to be one of the main paths for collectors and investors, and now gifting pieces comes with a touch of personal thought as well as building wealth through a portfolio of assets.
Birkin bags in particular are a well-documented investment, and their value is much higher than its sticker price of around $12,000. The value of a Hermès bag can increase dramatically over time, with the secondhand market driving this as the resale market offers shoppers more options than the Hermès store, where customers are allowed one quota bag per year, and rarely get to choose the exact model they want. Katrina adds: “Items like vintage Louis Vuitton trunks, first edition artist prints, and bespoke jewellery with investment worthy stones aren’t just luxury, they’re a legacy gift wrapped. We’ve sourced pink Argyle diamonds, original drawings by Picasso, and discontinued Goyard styles for clients who were gifting but also quietly collecting.”

HEIRLOOMS OF THE FUTURE In a culture driven by instant gratification, the shift toward timeless, high-value gifting is a luxury. Today’s most treasured gifts are defined not by price tags, but by permanence, rarity and resonance. Aleksa summarised : “Today’s thoughtful gift can become tomorrow’s heirloom, much like in the famous Patek Philippe advert where a man passes on a watch to his son - it can stay in the family, or be sold for more years down the line.” As luxury gifting continues to evolve in 2025, the most meaningful presents will not only stand the test of time, but may also prove to be some of the smartest investments of all.

Travertine-effect porcelain cladding defines the central feature courtyard, enhancing its architectural prominence, while reinforcing a connection to the natural landscape. A pivotal design intervention is the feature courtyard at the heart of the villa, an open-air sanctuary that invites natural light and greenery into the core of the home, establishing a spatial and sensory continuity between indoor and outdoor environments.
EXECUTION The transformation of the villa entailed a comprehensive reconfiguration of the second floor, where two standard bedrooms were reimagined into a bespoke master suite. This expansive retreat integrates a dual en-suite configuration with his-and-hers bathrooms and a custom walkin wardrobe, optimizing both functionality and indulgence. Throughout the villa, new flooring selections, luxury fabric-lined wall treatments, and bespoke joinery introduce a heightened level of sophistication. The use of travertine porcelain cladding extends beyond the courtyard, reinforcing textural depth across key surfaces.
A significant structural modification involved the closure of the doubleheight void within the family area, allowing for the creation of a dedicated playroom on the first floor.
AMBIENCE The atmosphere within Villa Esencia is one of understated opulence, balancing warmth with contemporary refinement. The interplay of natural textures and tailored finishes fosters a luxurious yet eminently livable environment, ensuring that the residence remains both aspirational and deeply personal.

KEY FEATURES
One of the primary design challenges was working within the constraints of the existing villa layout, while achieving a fluid spatial arrangement that met the client’s aspirations. The integration of distinct zones, without compromising the openness of the space, required a meticulous approach to planning and execution.
At the heart of the villa, the feature courtyard serves as a visual and experiential anchor, its presence felt from the kitchen, living areas, private office, and upper levels. This central element reinforces the villa’s biophilic design intent, ensuring a continuous dialogue between architecture and nature. The dining experience is elevated by a bespoke natural travertine dining table, an artisanal statement piece that complements the villa’s material narrative.

These include the development of thirty-six apartments on The Bishops Avenue in Hampstead, the delivery of five luxury homes through the retrofit and renovation of the former Grade II listed Connaught Chapel on St John’s Wood Terrace and the restoration and expansion of a prominent residential property on Elsworthy Road in Primrose Hill.
Co-founder of Valouran, Alex Michelin comments: “This development demonstrates Valouran’s commitment to create value for our partners and investors by crafting exceptional homes that people will want to live in for a lifetime. The approval of our planning proposal to enhance this listed building illustrates the team’s ability to work sensitively

with historic buildings and with the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea to deliver valuable outcomes for all stakeholders. It also shows the diverse array of skills and range of assets that we have the expertise to deliver. 24 Cadogan Square will be an exemplary, bestin-class family home, setting a new benchmark for this central London neighbourhood.”

ADDING A LARGE UNSPIRAL CELLAR TO AN IMPORTANT PERIOD MANOR HOUSE The property in this case study was a substantial mid 18th century manor house. We were tasked with creating a large wine room to house a wine collection that the client was about to acquire.
Identifying space within the property from which to create a dedicated wine room would not be an issue, but as the house was

of historic importance, it was important that the addition of any wine storage had to be in keeping with the style of the property. The brief stated a requirement to create cellar storage for 650-700 wine bottles but, unusually, the exact composition of the collection was unknown. Thus, the design would need to be versatile enough to allow for an indeterminate mix of loose bottle, case, champagne and spirits storage.
THE SPACE As with many large period properties the house had a warren of basement rooms, including an under-utilised storage area that could be re-purposed into a statement wine space. The room had a low beamed ceiling and with no windows, was naturally dark and cool. Fortuitously, within the structure of the space we identified existing vents to the exterior of

the property. This meant that appropriate ambient cellaring conditions could be met without the need for mechanised climate control.
aesthetic. As such, its use within the historic manor house would be entirely in keeping with the style of the property. •
With 38 modules in the range, plus options to add feature lighting, the UnSpiral Cellar could be configured to suit both the room and the clients wine storage requirements.
•
Made from the same ‘Limestone White’ concrete we use in our Spiral Cellars, the light colouring of the UnSpiral Cellar would help lift the space.
•
The thermal properties of the concrete modules would be better at retaining the cool temperature of the room than if the space were crafted from timber (important in an ambient cellaring space).
THE SOLUTION The initial proposal was to create a bespoke timber wine room in the style of a traditional gentleman’s club. Whilst this would be in keeping with the ambiance of the period property, there was a slight concern about creating a dark timber wine room in an already dark space. We then discussed the advantages of creating a wine room using modules from the recently launched UnSpiral Cellar system. •
Whilst the UnSpiral is very much a contemporary cellaring system, its design is based on a traditional stone wine cave, with which it shares a similar
•
By using pre-cast modules to create the wine room, the project would be significantly less expensive and quicker to deliver than a fully bespoke timber option.

At the Benetti Shipyard in Livorno, M/Y Iryna was handed over to her owner, an established customer and admirer of the Shipyard, which completed the project in less than three years.
M/Y IRYNA IS READY TO SAIL, THE FIRST UNIT IN THE FAMILY OF B.NOW 67M WITH OASIS DECK® The superyacht is the first unit in the B.Now 67M yacht line with the Oasis Deck®, while also demonstrating Benetti’s ability to deliver custom projects. YACHTS & YACHTING
Because of her important place in the Benetti yacht line, M/Y Iryna has received official recognition from Lloyd’s Register certifying the yacht as a point of excellence and “the first unit in the revolutionary B.Now 67M series with Oasis Deck®.”

The layout also differs from the original design, particularly in terms of the numerous wellness areas, including a sauna in the beach club and a gym on the main deck, as requested by the owner.
A TAILOR-MADE YACHT This steel superyacht stands out for her multiple customisations, not least the colour of the hull and superstructure, personalised with three different greys created especially for this unit. The boat features extensive, mainly curved glazing that covers up to 70% of the overall vertical surface area and lets natural light flood into the indoor spaces, designed by Benetti’s Interior Design Department under the guidance of Benetti Style Manager Mariorosa Remedi. Some of the settings were designed entirely in-house by the Shipyard’s Style Department, such as the four guest cabins on the Lower Deck that showcase M/Y Iryna’s unique character and detailing. Examples are the pleated leather produced exclusively for this boat and the colours chosen for the fabrics, inspired by the four seasons. The ceilings clad in a new generation leather, tanned using natural materials, and the marble-effect ceramic slabs reveal an environmentally conscious selection of materials. The choice of wood also involved careful consideration of environmental certifications issued by the most authoritative international bodies, including the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and the PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification), ensuring responsibly managed forests with a focus on biodiversity and the wellbeing of local communities.

IN DETAIL The exterior styling is by RWD, the UK firm with which Benetti has worked successfully on the entire B.Now line. M/Y Iryna features the Oasis Deck® concept, creating an exclusive lifestyle thanks to the design of the stern area as a place for socialising in close contact with nature. M/Y Iryna has six decks. From the top Observation Deck down to the Under Lower Deck, the vessel is extremely spacious both outdoors, with around 500 square metres of usable space, and indoors, with a 65-squaremetre Main Salon and a full-beam owner’s suite on the Upper Deck, made possible by moving the wheelhouse and captain’s cabin up to the next deck. With two VIP cabins on the Main Deck and four cabins on the Lower Deck, M/Y Iryna accommodates up to 15 guests.
