At Methody, we have a rich tradition of Girl’s hockey in the College and continue to compete in regular Ulster and Irish competitions. The girls play in a wide variety of competitions for their age categories, practising twice a week and at least one match per week.
We are the most successful hockey school to win the Ulster Schools Cup 21 times, 18 outright and 3 shared, and were Ulster and Irish Schools Cup winners in 2016 and 2022, and the 2ndXI won the McDowell Shield in 2023. The Girls Hockey Club also have a number of players on the Ulster U18 and Irish U16 Panel.
MCB Girls Hockey caters for all ages and ability levels from Form 1 to U6th. The opportunities to play range from playing at games and afterschool practice. The Senior hockey players can avail of fitness sessions taken by a qualified Strength & Conditioning Coach, and access to the Strength & Conditioning gym.
The Girls Hockey club plans a Junior and Senior Club tour each year, the upcoming trips are to Manchester and Edinburgh.
We are seeking sponsorship that will not only help the Hockey Club and our pupils but provide an opportunity to raise your company’s profile within the local community and beyond, via all our games this season and also on our website and social media. All sponsorship received will be used solely for our players across all teams to ensure that they have an excellent Hockey experience at the College.

As the sponsorship provides a commercial benefit, it is treated differently from a donation, and therefore VAT is applicable and then VAT is added to the sponsorship amount.
