WHAT THIS MEANS: • All affidavits of publication will be provided as digitally signed PDFs delivered via email. • This is in full compliance with longstanding New York State law, which recognizes electronic affidavits statewide. AFFIDAVIT RATES: • Lower rates apply for electronic delivery. • Higher rates apply for wet-signed, postal-mailed affidavits due to printing, manual signing, and certified mailing costs. CUSTOMER NOTICE: • Customers must request a wet-signed, postal-mailed affidavit at the time they submit their legal notice for publication. Otherwise, an electronic affidavit will be prepared and delivered by default.
