Signs have been installed around the lake, hoping to drive up awareness of the dangers of algae blooms and more.

The Merritt Chamber of Commerce has voted to dissolve after a lack of both financial support and membership.

Nicola Wind Project will be the largest windfarm in Canada

Details have been released regarding a joint venture between Upper Nicola Band and Elemental Energy Renewables, in what will be the largest windfarm in the country.
