The backbones of the British Columbian economy are going through a transformative age, and Merritt is doing its best to keep up. Traditionally known for its strong ties to the forestry and manufacturing sectors, Merritt is now seeing growth in areas such as technology, renewable energy, healthcare and tourism according to a new labour market survey conducted by a third party research group in conjunction with the City of Merritt.
