Major improvements are in the making for Seawork 2023. Following a challenging year where compromises had to be made as result of the Covid pandemic decimating the exhibition supply chain, Seawork 2023 provides us with a great opportunity to refocus and reset for the future. The welcome move to a new supplier, whose client list includes Chelsea Flower Show, Goodwood, Paris Air Show, COP26, and the G7, means Seawork has now contracted with one of the best and biggest structures companies in Europe to provide new halls for next year’s 24th edition of Seawork Seawork 2023 will effectively be in two large halls, running East to West, replacing the seven small halls this year. The goal is to provide a more open, airy feel, improving the visual and environmental experience for both exhibitors and visitors alike. The new structures comprise 50-metrewide spans and include opaque roof skins, better air handling and better floors. Traffic flow and navigation will also improve with Visitor Registration and the Conference Rooms integrated into the main Halls. It’s not just the landside that is undergoing a facelift, the ever-popular pontoons will be boasting new stands afloat. The Seawork team has
been working with the new contractors to come up with a solution for on-the-water exhibitors that may need some additional undercover exhibition space next to their vessels or floating plant. The new stands provide an opportunity for exhibitors to complement their floating display with a hospitality or exhibition stand. The site-wide investment is set to significantly improve the Seawork Experience for everyone. With further improvements and new innovations to be announced over the next few weeks, including details of ‘Eat Street’ catering, the course looks to be set fair for Seawork 2023.
