MEET THE MOD AT SEAWORK Seawork & Marine Civils will see a strong presence by UK Government Departments, including the National Shipbuilding Office (NSO), as well as Ministry of Defence (MOD) and the newly formed Department for Business and Trade (DBT). The NSO coordinates vessel procurement across all Government Departments, implements the refreshed National Shipbuilding Strategy and wants to meet UK-based vessel builders and supply chain companies to understand capabilities and better target support. Dealing with the procurement and through life support of all boats and their equipment used by all three services, the DE&S “Boats Team MOD department will be present again in strength to meet with existing clients and new

potential clients. The DBT Maritime Capability Campaign Office (MCCO) helps UK national companies involved with sales and export of boats, equipment and related services abroad; providing advice on both commercial and military export business as well as UK Export Finance.
