What began as a love story took an unexpected turn then Jack and I learned that our adopted son, Riley, was autistic. By the grace of God, I responded to Riley’s disability with a heart of compassion and I began educating myself about the diagnoses. Almost immediately, Jack began to isolate himself from us. A few months later, he filed for divorce. Left alone to shoulder the full weight of my son’ autistic behaviors, I called upon God for help. Gradually, God disclosed many truths about autism that I would not have known otherwise. In time, these divine truths led to a supernatural healing wherein Riley was set free from the powerful grip of autism.
