A high school history teacher wins millions on the lottery. His good fortune continues when he gains custody of Oro, a golden retriever, who’s anything but your average “man’s best friend” canine. The dog has the ability to understand all human speech and telepathically communicates with Will, who is shocked when he learns that he can “hear” the dog “talk” to him. Oro is surprised, as well; since Will is the first human he’s run across who is able to receive his thoughts. The duo teams up with Lea, Will’s lady friend, to put their unique association to good use. They set out to help others solve an assortment of life’s problems, but face larger dilemmas and obstacles along the way.
