ACTIVITIES TAKING PLACE IN FEBRUARY: You Matter: 5th February marks Time to Talk Day. To recognise this, the You Matter Network has created a poster highlighting the importance of having open and honest conversations about mental health, as well as support and guidance on how to start these conversations within units. The network is also sending out support packs, providing resources to help facilitate and encourage these discussions. Click HERE for the poster. Pride in Food: February marks LGBTQ+ History Month, a time to celebrate and raise awareness of LGBTQ+ figures throughout history. To support education and recognition, the Pride in Food Network is hosting an LGBTQ+ History Month virtual quiz on the 10th of February at 4-4:45pm,that highlights important facts, achievements, and the contributions of LGBTQ+ people across history. In addition, the network will be sharing employee spotlights on their portal and social media, giving colleagues the opportunity to share personal reflections, raise awareness, and discuss their experiences of workplace inclusion. Click HERE to find out more. An LGBTQ+ toolkit will also be shared, providing helpful resources and information to support LGBTQ+ employees and allies. Within: Our Within Network will be celebrating Race Equality Week, taking place from 2–8 February. To mark the week, the Network will be hosting a special event, on the 4 t h of February, that brings the community together to educate, celebrate, and spark meaningful conversations.
