We invite you to join this group of everyday visionaries who have taken concrete steps in their wills to help MEIC do the work of preserving what is best about the last best place.
You don’t have to be wealthy Legacy gifts are gifts that anyone, of any means, can make. You can always change your mind just by changing your will.
You know us We are MEIC In 1973, a group of Montanans decided that our environment deserved a voice. Since that day more than 50 years ago, it has had a strong one. MEIC has lobbied at every single legislative session since. For decades, your generosity has been instrumental in stemming the tide of ecological degradation from mining, fossil fuel extraction, industrial pollution, and corporate greed. Your willingness to participate – whether it be through letter-writing, testifying, protesting, or donating – has been crucial to our success so far.

Planned Giving is Easier Than you Think Just a few options include: Make a simple gift in your will, also called a bequest. Make a provision in your will that designates a specific dollar amount or percentage of your estate to MEIC, just as you would for a person. List MEIC as a beneficiary on life insurance policies. Policy benefits pass directly to MEIC with no federal estate taxes. Designate MEIC as the beneficiary of the remainder of a retirement or savings account.
