■ A hard-working farmer from Hurstbridge has found the grass is greener after harvesting more than $1.6 million in Tattslotto. When an official from The Lott revealed the winning news, the happy man couldn’t help but burst into laughter, quickly followed by tears. “You’re absolutely kidding me, mate,” he cheered. “Oh my god. I’m not an emotional man, but I’ve got tears in my eyes. “This is unbelievable. Am I awake right now? I feel like I’m dreaming. “You’re a godsend. I have a farm and it’s tough. You have no idea how much this is going to help. “Crikey. Absolutely wow. This is the best news I’ve had in a long time. It’s life-changing. “I’ve been playing for decades. I hadn’t checked my ticket because usually, if I have a win, it’s no more than $45. I wasn’t expecting this at all. “Thank you so much. ■ Mernda Sexual Offence and Child Abuse Investigation Team investigators have charged a man following an incident at a medical facility in Heidelberg. A recording device was allegedly located in a restricted staff toilet of a medical facility on Thursday, July 3. The device, a mobile phone, is alleged to have been in place for some time before staff became aware and reported the matter to police. Police executed a warrant at an address in West Heidelberg on Thursday morning (July 10). A 27-year-old West Heidelberg man was arrested and interviewed by detectives. He was charged with stalking and use optical surveillance device. He was bailed to appear at Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court on August 29.
