GREEN PATHWAYS TO WALK, RUN AND RIDE ■ Boroondara Council is creating a new Greenways Plan while continuing work on already identified new path links and making existing paths safer and more accessible. The sum of $5 million has already been allocated. ?”A new Greenways Plan is being developed to help us improve connections between neighbourhoods, parks, schools and key destinations across our suburbs,” said a Council representativer. “This plan will guide us to make it easier and safer for our residents to move around, stay active, drive less and enjoy their local environment through our network of paths. The plan will also improve biodiversity along the Greenways network as the Council adds more trees and plants to improve and create new wildlife corridors.
