Investigators attended a home in Drinkwater Crescent, Sunshine West about 8.20pm on Saturday (Mar. 25) and arrested a 27-year-old man. The Sunshine West man has been charged with five counts of obtain property by deception in relation to five alleged incidents that occurred between July and November last year.
■ Police are investigating the theft of property from a parked car in Footscray. It is believed a male and female approached a black 2023 MG sedan that was parked on Barkly St at 4pm onTuesday last week. A claw hammer was used to smash a hole in the front passenger window. The female reached in and attempted to open the door but was unable to.
■ Eagle-eyed officers have arrested a man allegedly dealing drugs after a vehicle intercept in Braybrook on Friday night (Mar. 24). Police observed the driver of a Toyota Yaris acting suspiciously on Royal Pde about 11.40pm. They intercepted the car and spoke to the driver, a 24-yearold man. The car was searched and it is alleged police located drugs, cash and drug paraphernalia. The 24-year-old was arrested and has been charged
with trafficking and possessing cocaine, cannabis, MDMA and prescription medication. He was also charged with possess proceeds of crime. He was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on June 13.
