■ PRE-POLL voting is about to commence in Federal seats across Melbourne’s north-west ahead of the May 21 election. Sitting members such as Maribyrnong MHR Bill Shorten will contest their seats against a wide variety of nominees. Seats in the north-west include:Calwell (Broadmeadows), Cooper (Northcote, Preston), Fraser (Sunshine), Gellibrand (Altona), Hawke (Sunbury), Maribyrnong (Essendon, Moonee Ponds), Melbourne (CBD and inner metro) and Wills (Brunswick, Coburg).
