MOTHER, DAUGHTER KILLED AT LWR PLENTY
■ Lower Plenty mother Joanne Perry was stabbed to death at herKett St unit. Her daughter Carly Pirronelli was shot dead by Police, after she refused to drop her weapon. Police confirmed that the daughter had mental health issues, was on bail, and was known to Police. Police had attended after neighbours reported that the 26-year-old daughter was setting her mother on fire. Police found that Joanne Perry had suffered knife wounds to the neck and torso. An official statement said: “Police were called to a Kett St address after reports a woman in her 50s was being seriously assaulted by a woman in her 20s about 6.30pm on Friday, March 8.”
