■ Bundoora Secondary College opened Australia's first Virtual Reality Innovation Centre on campus on Monday (Mar. 7). High school teachers from across Melbourne were able to learn about results and potential of virtual reality for student collaboration, education and career pathway planning. The teachers had the opportunity to try a range of virtual STEAM career scenarios such as performing open-heart surgery, scuba diving and studying the oceans, composing music, dissecting a frog in a lab, even experiencing life as an astronaut on an International Space Station.
