Fairley joins GV Water Board
■ Goulburn Valley Water will welcome a new Director to its Board, with the appointment of Andrew Fairley. Mr Fairley has more than 40 years’ experience as a commercial and equity lawyer, specialising in superannuation and succession planning, and continues to practice as a Consultant at Hall and Wilcox. He founded and then chaired the Law Council of Australia Superannuation Committee for 10 years and is an industry Director of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority. Mr Fairley has a long involvement with philanthropy, particularly in the Goulburn Valley, and has been Chair of the Sir Andrew Fairley Foundation since 1999. He is currently Chair of ASX listed Qualitas Limited, and his previous roles include Chair of Equip Super, an industry superannuation fund. He has also been Chair of Zoos Victoria and Parks Victoria. Mr Fairley begins his term on October 1.
