■ Donnybrook Railway Station is increasingly used as a rail head for commuters in the Murrindindi, Mitchell and Whittlesea municpalities. Northern Victoria MLC Wendy Lovell told State Parliament this month that the lack of services at the station. Aconstituent expressed his difficulty in obtaining a V/Line ticket. “As Donnybrook is currently an unmanned station, he is forced to purchase his ticket online and drive from Donnybrook to Craigieburn to collect his ticket before returning to Donnybrook to catch his train.” Ms Lovell said there was a lack of basic facilities at the Donnybrook station, including no clock or a service display.
