■ Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a sexual assault which occurred on a tram in Kew. Investigators have been told a 15-year-old girl boarded a tram on Stevenson St about 10.45am on 4 April. A man came up behind the girl, who was standing near the rear door, and sexually assaulted her. The victim got away from the man and got off the tram at High St and Cotham Rd, Kew. Investigators believe the offender stayed on the tram for one more stop before disembarking at Charles St and Cotham Rd.
