■ StorageX was this month awarded the Rising StarAward for businesses within the Monash municipality. The award was presented at the gala dinner held at Huntingdale Golf Course. StorageX is a state of the art self-storage facility servicing the residents of Monash and neighbouring municipalities. The recipient of the award was previously involved in the taxicab industry. Deregulation, and COVID-19 completely devastated that business and as a result a new venture was sought. “With devastation comes innovation”, the arry Katsiabanis evaluated businesses and business models that they could adapt to their facility.
