Starting in 2023, the community bus will help people access services in Banyule and aims to increase participation in the wider community. The Community Bus will be available to: ■ Residents aged 65+ ■ Those living with a disability ■ People from low socio-economic backgrounds ■ Young people ■ First Nations people ■ People from culturally and linguistically diverse communities Baynule Council has engaged LINK Community Transport to deliver the service, which will follow a fixed route through Heidelberg, Heidelberg West, Heidelberg Heights, Bellfield, Ivanhoe and Rosanna, and may stop at: ■ Leisure centres ■ Banyule Community Health ■ Shop 48 - The Harmony Centre ■ Bellfield Community Hub ■ Hospitals and medical centres
