Critically injured at Noble Park

■ Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after an injured man was found in Noble Park on Sunday morning (Mar. 6). Police have been told the man was found lying near the intersection of Noble and Allan Sts about 12.30am. Attending Police believed the man’s injuries appeared consistent with being involved in a collision with a vehicle. A short time later Police were notified that a woman had been assaulted and was involved in an altercation with a man nearby. Police set up a crime scene and detectives were investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident It is believed both the man and woman are known to one another. The 37-year-old Noble Park man was taken to hospital with critical injuries while the 36year-old Narre Warren woman was assisting police with their enquiries. Anyone who witnessed the incident or with dashcam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

■ The City of Casey has taken a step towards its goal of becoming an age-friendly city, signing the Victorian Government and Municipal Association of Victoria’s Age-Friendly Victoria Declaration. The approach encourages Councils to consider senior people’s needs and their voices in planning, policies and actions.
