V. Venugopal Visakhapatnam For Nagireddy a well known and versatile graphic designer November 30 was orignally a black letter day because it was on November 30, 2002 he met with a cruel accident while he was driving down the Taj Residency Beach Road on his bike to invite guests for the inauguration of his new office. He was totally paralysed
because of a near fatal injury. A lesserman would have given up. But not Nagireddy. It was re-birth for him. During his convalescing period he introspected and re-connected with life. Design Mouse was born. The rest as they say is history. Talking to Bay News Mr. Nagireddy said that apart from expressing gratitude to all thse who stood by him during the accident period his aim is to build atleast four more people who are service oriented and like minded, to serve mankind and to continue the same service as he did,. This makes us to recollect the ideology of the
director who passsed his idea through the cinestar of Tollywood Chiranjeevi in one of his films Stalin- Don’t just shed your responsibility by saying thanks to the person who helps you, rather try to be helpful to atleast three people who are in need and ask them to repeat the same. So as to bring a change in the
country. Recollecting the days when he was bedridden for a longtime he says that “ those days gave me a chance to feel and experience spirituality and made me to re-plan my life, goals and achivements in a shot span and I got the previlege of getting more number of PSUs and Corporates added to my client list Inspite of my physically conditions due to a serious accident in 2002, five years ago, I never looked back but continued improving my skills in designing and printing technology which I accquired in my eight year long association in print media.”
Ever since, as the Chief Archietect and Proprietor of Design Mouse , a leading Print & Visual Studio in North Andhra region of the state.he has done many prestigious projects and got good clients. To name some are Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, which was using the the designs made in Mumbai for the past twenty five years, for the first time gave the job to Design Mouse, All the publicity material for President’s Fleet Review and International Vollyball Championships were designed by him. ‘ I never send my staff to the client for the sake of getting business but at the same time serve the clients who walk-in to my office with all my efforts and also keep them updated with feed back from the market time to time, said Mr. Reddy and added that “I achieved my dreams though it was delayed by a year. I have emerged much stronger in my proffession. Some people who were close to me, prior to the accident drifted away thinking that I was no longer useful to them but those who stood by me without hesitation, both in my proffession and in my personallife, continue to reap and enjoy fruits of success along with me which is a result of my sheer determination and self driven motivation”, said he. Nagireddy runs a graphic solution
business- Design Mouse -the choice of the name ‘Mouse’ may perhaps portray his tool and his modesty, but the logo of a ‘topical’ fish says it all. It is truely representative of his inner burning desire to work incessantly. Five years on, though the scars remain, the truma of the accident has been vanquished by ceaseless effort, infinite patience and immense selfbelief. Reddy feels that his clients, friends and his associates are his energy boosters and says he feels re-energised when he interacts with them. In the midst of his professional achievements, Nagireddy has found time and zest to contribute his mite to social causes. He alongwith three others from different fields, Caring Hands ( a Neurologist), Lakshmi Prasanna Publicities and Ravi Chandra Bothra Charitable Trust established a voluntary NGO- Team 4 which addresses the common man’s everyday problems and spreads awareness on a range of socially important issues.
