Hanover County continues to work on the Comprehensive Plan update (known as Envision Hanover) and is seeking feedback on concepts related to pedestrian/bicycle mobility, housing and rural character. The public is invited to attend one of the in-person events scheduled for April and early May: Monday, April 24 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Taylor Park Complex Thursday, April 27 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Montpelier Community Center Monday, May 1 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Mechanicsville Library. Residents can also participate virtually on Thursday, April 20 from noon to 1 p.m. Visit https:// www.envisionhanover.com/ for the webinar link. from 12-2 p.m. to allow for more informal one-on-one conversations with the project team. Since the Envision Hanover planning process began in fall 2021, the public has been asked to provide ideas and input on a variety of different topics related to the county’s long-range growth and development. Over 4,000 comments have been received during the planning process.
