Captivated by the warmth of the sunrays on the morning of Friday, Oct. 3, a herd of horses, including two of the draft breeds known as Belgian and Clydesdale, grazed in a pasture in the north valley of the Rural Municipality of Minto-Odanah. Tucked in behind a stand of trees, travellers on Highway 10 may have caught a glimpse of the majestic beauty and richness of this fall scene.

It’s that time of year again flu and COVID-19 clinics are here!

With winter fast approaching, it’s a sure sign that flu season is just around the corner. To help you stay healthy, Prairie Mountain Health (PMH) is setting up clinics all over the region where you can get your annual flu shot and COVID-19 vaccine.

“It’s the best way to boost your defenses and protect yourself and the people around you,” stated a PMH representative. This year, there’s a special option for folks 65 and older. Manitoba Health is offering a high-dose flu vaccine that’s specifically designed to give your body a stronger immune response. You can book your appointment online, call toll-free at 1-844-626-8222, or simply walk in.
