Groomed trails maintained by local snowmobile clubs are one way snowmobile enthusiasts can unleash their passion for speed and safety, no matter the weather. The out-of-town groomed trail system at Minnedosa is part of more than 12,000 kilometres of designated Snoman trails in the province. Snowmobilers love the area thanks to its wooden terrain, meadows, and rolling hills, which cast magical views that are truly second to none.

Norman Sims is among the recipients of a King Charles III Coronation Medal from the Honourable Dan Mazier, Member of Parliament for Dauphin–Swan River–Neepawa.
The King Charles III Coronation Medal commemorates the
coronation of His Majesty King Charles III as King of Canada on May 6, 2023. Administered by the Chancellery of Honours at Rideau Hall, this esteemed medal is presented to those exceptional individuals who have made remarkable contributions to Canada or their local communities. It is a celebration of their tireless dedication and impactful service!
The medal, designed by the Canadian Heraldic Authority and produced by the Royal Canadian Mint, features a crowned effigy of King Charles III on the front, surrounded by “CHARLES III DEI GRATIA REX” and “CANADA.”
The reverse showcases a circular design representing Canada’s provinces and territories, with the Canadian Royal Cypher at the center,
the Coronation date (6.V.2023) on the left, and “VIVAT REX” on the right. It is finished with a dark blue, red, and white ribbon.
Among the esteemed recipients of this honour is Norman Sims, a dedicated legal professional and community leader. Norm has served the region for decades, providing legal expertise as the owner of Sims & Company and earning
the distinction of Life Member of the Law Society of Manitoba.
Beyond his profession, he has actively contributed to numerous local organizations, including the Kinsmen Club of Minnedosa, the Minnedosa Chamber of Commerce, and the Minnedosa District United Way.
