When it comes to beautifully crafted floats, Heritage Co-op was among those to do it right as the Minnedosa Santa Claus Parade lit up the downtown area on Saturday, Dec. 7. The local retail co-operative has proudly served communities in Western Manitoba for over 90 years, and today it serves more than 30,000 members in Minnedosa, Brandon, Wawanesa, Erickson, Sandy Lake, Strathclair and Rivers, with upgrades currently ongoing at the Minnedosa Food Store.

This holiday season, several community organizations are offering free Christmas dinners, ensuring that everyone has a chance to enjoy a festive meal and good company, especially those who might
be alone or facing financial challenges. Free Christmas dinners offer not just food, but friendship, fellowship, and a sense of belonging.
In Minnedosa, a welcoming Christmas Day dinner will be held at the Minnedosa Community Conference Centre at noon on Dec. 25.
This luncheon provides a perfect opportunity to enjoy a meal sur-
rounded by friendly faces and holiday spirit.
Hosted by the Shoal Lake and Area Food Bank at the Shoal Lake Community Hall on Dec. 25 at 5:00 p.m., this free dinner invites everyone to gather for an evening of festive cheer and community warmth.
To make sure there’s enough food and space, organizations ask
that you call ahead to reserve your spot. It’s a simple way to help them prepare and ensure a joyful experience for all.
