To do this, we are advancing a pipeline of potential first-in-class medicines targeting rare diseases with significant unmet needs. In 2024, Travere received full FDA approval of a therapy for IgA nephropathy (IgAN), a rare kidney disease (RKD) that is a leading cause of kidney failure due to glomerular disease. Earlier this year, the use of this medication was expanded to become the first medication approved by the FDA to treat focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). We also have investigational drugs under development in the areas of classical homocystinuria (HCU), primary membranous nephropathy (pMN), and other rare kidney diseases.

FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW The Travere Global Medical Information/Medical Affairs Fellowship Program is a highly specialized postgraduate training experience designed to provide pharmacy school graduates with hands-on mentorship and professional growth. Through direct collaboration with experienced preceptors, the fellow will gain a deep understanding of how medical affairs contributes to organizational strategy, scientific excellence, and meaningful patient outcomes. This program offers the opportunity to develop expertise in medical information and cross-functional partnership, while reinforcing Travere’s commitment to professional development, innovation, and advancing care in rare diseases. This fellowship is a remote, 2-year program with a primary focus on global medical information. Although it is a remote program, the fellow is required to live in the Boston area to attend MCPHS related events. This program will also include rotations across various teams within global medical affairs:

As the inaugural fellow at Travere, I have had an incredible experience joining the medical affairs team. Throughout my first year, I have built a strong foundation in medical information by integrating with the call center, attending conferences, and connecting with team members across the organization to learn, ask questions, and gain valuable perspectives. In my second year, I look forward to exploring other core functions within medical affairs. Each day, I continue to expand my scientific knowledge of rare diseases, with a particular focus on IgAN and FSGS. From my very first interview, I could tell that the team was genuinely invested in making this fellowship everything I had hoped for– and more. What initially drew me to Travere was its patient-centric culture, and that impression has only grown stronger. I am grateful to be part of a team that truly prioritizes professional growth, collaboration, and meaningful relationships.

MCPHS BIOPHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY FELLOWSHIP ELIGIBILITY The MCPHS Biopharmaceutical Industry fellows will be selected on a nationally competitive basis. •

Applicants must have a doctor of pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy at the commencement of the program. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills and a strong interest in pursuing a career within the biopharmaceutical industry. All candidates must have authorization to work in the United States throughout the duration of the 2-year fellowship. No visa sponsorship will be provided (i.e. TN, H-1B, STEM OPT, etc.). APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The MCPHS application portal (SMApply) will open on Monday, October 5, 2026. Applicants must upload the following application materials to the online portal (mcphs.smapply.io) by Monday, November 2, 2026: • Letter of intent (addressed to the Travere program directors) • Curriculum vitae • Unofficial college transcript • Contact information for three references. References will receive an electronic recommendation form to complete separately. Three recommendation evaluation forms must be submitted no later than Friday, November 20, 2026 via the online portal. This is NOT a letter of recommendation but an online form that the recommender will receive for completion from SMApply.

MCPHS BIOPHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION REVIEW AND INTERVIEW TIMELINE Following a review of submitted applications, pre-screens and preliminary interviews will begin in October. Additional interviews, including final rounds, will take place in December during ASHP. Candidates will be notified if selected for an interview. The process is rigorous and competitive; therefore, candidates should submit their applications well in advance of posted deadlines as priority will be given to those who apply early.
ASHP MIDYEAR AND ONSITE INTERVIEWS The fellowship program will be conducting in-person interviews at the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting in Orlando, FL, December 6-9, 2026. Attendance is strongly encouraged, but not required. Please refer to the ASHP & PPS website for registration details. Top candidates may be invited for interviews at the sponsoring company’s location.
AIFA FIRST OFFER DATE The choice of a post-doctoral fellowship is an important decision. MCPHS, in conjunction with the Alliance of Industry Fellowship Associates (AIFA), has aligned to extend offers for fellowships no earlier than Friday, December 11, 2026. We believe this is a positive reflection of the cultures our programs offer, and that culture is a critical consideration in choice of fellowship. We hope that other academic and non-academic fellowship programs will NOT pressure candidates to accept offers prior to this aligned offer date.
