(Back, from left) Sharon Moon (coach), Rebekah Bridge, Quinn Downward, Hannah Downward, Alanna McKee and Bella Atkinson; (front) Lara O’Callaghan, Allegra Smith, Teagan Moon, Sienna Rudd and Alice Peat. Sienna Rudd (GS, GA) Sienna is a reliable and consistent shooter, who in her first season at the club has shown great improvement each week. Growing in confidence while refining her skills, such as circle movement, Sienna’s positive style of play is a result of her own hard work. Quinn Downward (GA, GS) - Quinn’s strong baseline drive helps her leave her defender behind. With her long arms and legs, she executes the split land with precision. In only her second year playing netball, Quinn has quickly taken ownership of the goal circle. Hannah Downward (GS, GA, WA) - Hannah’s natural athletic ability contributes to the speed of her mid-court drives and her versatility in positions played. Using her height to her advantage,

Hannah deflects balls while defending, which results in many mid-court turnovers. Her dedication to achieving results is rewarded through her goaling accuracy. Teagan Moon (WA, WD, C) - Teagan plays her role across all three mid-court positions. She provides defensive pressure through the centre third while also transitioning into attack. Teagan’s growth this year has been her give and go down the court. Bella Atkinson (WA, C) Bella’s calm and composed personality transfers to the netball court. She provides leads with depth down the court to transition the ball onto the circle edge. She absorbs feedback and is a versatile player who has excelled in all positions thrown at her throughout the year.
Lara O’Callaghan (C, WA) - Lara provides the drive through our mid-court. Her work rate is at 100 per cent every week. She demonstrates her strong work ethic by the way she uses preliminary moves to loses her defender. She has excellent vision into the goal circle, allowing her to deliver accurate passes into the shooters. Allegra Smith (WD, GK, GD): This is Allegra’s first season with the club. She is an energetic defender who chases down every loose ball. Her speed and ability to track her opponent allows her to match up against quick attacking players. Allegra’s vertical agility also makes her an asset against taller players. Alice Peat (WD, GK, GD) - In Alice’s first season with the club, she has been able to introduce additional
defensive styles into her game. She has quick feet to delay her opponents drive onto the circle edge. She has played a key role in the transition of the ball out of defence with her mid-court drives. Rebekah Bridge (GD, GK, WD): Rebekah works tirelessly in defence to dictate and delay her opponent. This defensive strategy will often interfere with the opposing team’s game plan. Her tight defence and ability to read the play further creates opportunity for intercepts. Alanna McKee (GK, GD): Alanna, also in her first season with the club, has the foundations of a competitive defender. She applies defensive footwork to work around the body of her opponent, therefore preventing lobs into a holding goal shooter.
