What Can You Do With an Elementary Education Degree? The elementary education program at McNeese is designed to provide our students with the skills they will need to educate all students in an effective manner. Students are also equipped with the skills necessary to pursue a master's degree and attain specialized training for careers as administrators, supervisors and other roles in education. With events including the annual Geaux Teach: Unlock Education, Eat-N-Teach monthly meetings and Educators Rising regional competitions, students in the Department of Education Professions have the opportunity to meet and network with established professionals in the teaching field.
