Living the Shuffle Rescheduled for Saturday, April 10! 90 minutes
Robert Townsend, a storyteller, actor, writer, director, and filmmaker takes you on a showbiz rollercoaster ride of ups and downs. The Judy Carmichael Trio Sunday, Nov. 8, 2 p.m. 90 minutes
Count Basie gave her the nickname “Stride” because she brought such a special touch to the world of stride piano and to the Fats Waller style. Judy Carmichael is more than just a great jazz musician: she’s an enchanting performer and sharp as a tack. Many will know her from “Judy Carmichael’s Jazz Inspired” on NPR, and she brings the same charm, warmth and humor to the stage. Junwen Liang Piano

Originally from Nanning, China, Junwen Liang is already putting his stamp on the classical music scene. He made his solo debut by thirteen and has made waves ever since. He has concertized at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie and the Academy of Music in Philadelphia and won more competitions that we can begin to list. His 2025/26 season included more than thirty recital and educational engagements throughout the United States, China, and Canada.

Ars Populi (Latin for “art of the people”) is an a cappella ensemble that explores the interplay between art and folk music in an intimate setting. The name represents their view that singing is the most accessible, natural, and therefore democratic of all the musical arts, and as such, properly belongs to all humans. Their six unaccompanied voices bring purity and intricacy to Renaissance madrigals, Scottish Gaelic ballads, and even some modern standards.
