As we welcome the new year, we’d like to take a moment to reiterate a few important club rules and policies to ensure everyone continues to enjoy a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience at the club. Please take a moment to review the following: · Golf Dress Code: As there has been some discrepancy regarding winter apparel rules, we would like to reiterate that blue jeans are permitted on the golf course, however only through the months of Dec-March. · Hat Policy: All hats must be worn forward facing on the golf course and removed in entirety while in Alexander’s restaurant. · Renovation Rule: In an effort to ensure safety, it is imperative that any and all use of the BLACK Nine, is restricted until further notice. Anyone found failing to comply will lose golf privileges. · Cart GPS: In an effort of safety and period of transition, the 2mph zone rule will be implemented in our newly designed action zones. Please note, if you are already in full motion upon entering a restricted zone, the reduction to 2mph may be gradual and we ask that you use an abundance of care around bunkers, hills, bridges and water. The action zone will be displayed on the VDU when the cart is within 30 yards of the nearest edge. As of Feb 1, the 2mph zone will be changed to STOP and reverse mode. We greatly appreciate your attention to these guidelines and your ongoing support in helping us maintain the exceptional environment we all enjoy. Thank you for being a valued member of our community, and we look forward to another fantastic year together! COBBLESTONE CONNECTION

FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT We hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful holiday season and a happy New Year celebration. These are exciting times here at Cobblestone Golf Club, and we are thrilled to share an update on the progress happening around the course. The renovation project for new cart paths and bunkers is well underway and moving full speed ahead. If weather cooperates, we anticipate wrapping up work on the Black course in the coming weeks before transitioning to the Garnet course. These improvements have been long needed, and our maintenance team is especially excited about the bunker renovations. The new construction will allow bunkers to drain and recover much more efficiently—meaning a half inch of rain won’t take three days to repair, keeping play conditions consistent and enjoyable. Throughout the winter months, the maintenance crew will also be focusing on several additional projects, including cutting back brush in native areas and ravines, trimming ornamental grasses around the clubhouse and course, and limbing up trees as needed. We are also planning our pre-emergent fertilizer applications for mid to late February, which will support spring green-up and create a weed barrier to help reduce weed pressure as the season begins. As we move through winter, we remain hopeful for mild temperatures; however, if overnight lows drop below 25 degrees for consecutive nights, greens will be covered with protective tarps to guard against potential winter injury. Should this occur, we kindly ask that members do not walk across the tarps during play to ensure the turf remains protected. We are looking forward to an early spring, which will help the course recover more quickly from renovation wear and allow us to showcase these improvements as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and continued support— we look forward to seeing you out on the golf course soon! David Cavender Golf Course Superintendent

WHAT’S NEW IN THE NEW YEAR? COURSE IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS IN 2026 Cobblestone Golf Club: Beginning in Fall 2025, Cobblestone Golf Club will undergo a major renovation on the Black 9 course, rebuilding all bunkers with Capillary Concrete liners and new sand, improving drainage, and installing new concrete cart paths with select rerouting and tree removal. The same work will follow on the Garnet 9 course, with completion targeted for Spring 2026. During construction, the nine holes under renovation will be closed. The Water’s Edge Country Club: After Memorial Day, The Water’s Edge will close the course to convert all bentgrass fairways and tees to Bermudagrass, with a 10–12 week grow-in and a planned reopening by Labor Day. The club will also begin practice facility upgrades, including a redesigned first hole, a relocated putting green, and an expanded driving range tee near the clubhouse. These enhancements will elevate the overall golf experience and position the club for long-term success.
