BILTMORE PREPARATORY ACADEMY CONSTRUCTION UPDATES
Creighton School District is partnering with SPS+ Architects and McCarthy Building Co. to replace and modernize Biltmore Preparatory Academy.
This project will deliver a new, approximately 75,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art K–8 campus on the existing Phoenix site, purpose-built for the existing dual language Spanish emersion program.
Project Updates
Overall campus layout and design is complete!
Design & Construction Teams are actively working through Design Development documents to add plan details such as structural connections, floor plan layouts, exterior elevations and interior finishes selections (flooring, paint colors, ceiling types, etc.).
The team is actively working to place orders for material with long lead times, some of which can be almost a year long!
Campus and Community Impacts
Groundbreaking Ceremony – Please see the attached flyer for information regarding the upcoming groundbreaking ceremony hosted on-site on May 13, 2026!
Construction Mobilization – The project team is coordinating closely with the City of Phx and utility providers to finalize demo sequencing, existing utility coordination, and site logistics details. Site mobilization is quickly approaching and is currently scheduled for May 26! More information to come.
