This presentation explains rules of proper visualization of tables presenting business data
TABLE CONCEPT OF HICHERT®SUCCESS Tables are – with good reason – the most popular form of presenting business data. However, bad table design can be annoying and distracting. Sometimes reading the data becomes an unwanted challenge. This can be done much better by applying some basic design rules from the HICHERT®SUCCESS concept (for details see www.success.hichert.com) Font, border, number format, alignment, page layout – everything should be chosen carefully to show your data perfectly clear. Additional graphical elements, such as bar charts and textures, can also help to lead the reader's eye. In a well designed table, every figure is found quickly and confidently, and no important detail will be missed. The reader stays focused on the meaning of the figures.
