GLOBAL DIRECTORORGANIZATIONAL ENABLEMENT

Michele Roggie began her career with the company as a production worker, and over the past three decades she has grown through multiple leadership roles, including Supervisor, Production Manager, Plant Manager, and today Director of Manufacturing at Med-Eng, overseeing two plants in Canada and the United States.
Throughout her career, Michele has been known as a confident and supportive leader who is deeply committed to her team’s success. She continuously encourages those around her to develop their skills and grow professionally, and the advancement of many of her team members over the years is a testament to her mentorship and leadership.

With extensive knowledge across all areas of manufacturing, Michele is respected for her ability to collaborate with teams across the organization, from engineering and scheduling to operations and other department leaders. Despite her leadership role, she remains closely connected to the production floor and is always willing to step in and support her team when needed.
Congratulations, Michele, on 30 remarkable years of service and leadership. Your dedication continues to inspire those around you every day.

This year, we proudly celebrate Ed Binion, Med-Eng Production Manager, for 20 years of dedicated service.
Ed grew up just outside of Ogdensburg in the small town of Lisbon, where his graduating class had only 33 students. Before joining the company, he worked in several manufacturing facilities until he found his place at Med-Eng as a Sewing Machine Operator. Determined to master the craft, Ed spent countless hours practicing how to cut and sew Kevlar.
After mastering his sewing skills, Ed moved to the Cutting Table, and from there his career continued to grow. Over the years, he took on increasing responsibilities, serving as Warehouse Supervisor, Production Supervisor, and eventually stepping into his current role as Production Manager.
It’s fair to say that Ed has held many roles across the Ogdensburg facility, gaining deep experience and understanding of the operation along the way.
One of Ed’s proudest accomplishments has been leading teams that built Advanced Bomb Suit Systems for the Army (ABS GEN2). As Ed puts it:

“I love what we do, saving someone’s life.”
Outside of work, Ed has been married for 36 years and is the proud father of two sons. During the summer, he enjoys spending time on his pontoon boat cruising along the St. Lawrence River.
Congratulations, Ed, and thank you for 20 years of dedication and impact.

We are proud to celebrate Deborah Flack, Med- Eng Sewing Operator, for 20 years of dedicated service.
Deborah has always had a passion for sewing. Growing up in Ogdensburg, she began developing her skills at home, altering wedding dresses, making costumes for her children, and tailoring curtains for family and friends.
Her love for the craft continues today through the important work she does every day. As Deborah says:
“I love my job sewing and saving lives!”
Married for 23 years and a proud mother of three, Deborah has spent many years cheering on her children at soccer and basketball games and traveling to support their sports activities.
As she approaches the exciting stage of becoming an empty nester, Deborah is looking forward to having more time to enjoy shopping adventures with her friends.

Deborah, thank you for your 20 years of dedication and service.
After 22 years of dedicated service, we celebrate Maria Velasquez from Cyalume as she begins her next chapter.
Maria worked as a Machine Operator on the Cazoli line, playing an important role in the production of Cyalume’s 6” light sticks. Throughout the years, she became a valued member of the team, known for her commitment and consistency.
On March 6, her final day, the team came together to show their appreciation and thank her for her many years of hard work and dedication.
We wish Maria all the best in her retirement and thank her for the impact she has made over the years.

In December, the Radar team came together to celebrate an important milestone as Pietro Pellegrini begins his well-deserved retirement.
Pietro led and owned the company for nearly 40 years before joining Cadre in January 2022. His dedication, vision, and commitment to quality helped build the strong reputation Radar enjoys today.
In November 2024, Gabriele Attala joined the team to succeed Pietro. Over the past year, Pietro and Gabriele worked closely together to ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition, preserving the knowledge and values that have guided Radar’s success.
We sincerely thank Pietro for the trust he placed in Cadre to carry forward the high standards and legacy he built over the decades.

We wish Pietro a joyful and fulfilling retirement. Thank you for everything, Pietro.

At PSP, the annual awards event is a special tradition, one where employees come together to recognize those who make a difference every day through their dedication, teamwork, and spirit.
Each year, peers vote to select recipients for awards such as Most Valuable Player, Team Player, Rookie of the Year, and a very special recognition for the individual who brings positivity, energy, and encouragement to those around them.
For many years, that special recognition, formerly known as the Spirit Award, was almost unanimously awarded to Val Guest. Val was known for her kindness, her ever-present smile, and her genuine ability to lift the spirits of everyone she encountered. Her impact was felt not only through what she did, but through how she made people feel.

In 2023, she was once again awarded the Spirit Award, a reflection of the profound and lasting impression she had on her team. In 2024, after she passed, the award was renamed in her honor as the Val Guest Spirit Award, ensuring that her legacy would continue to inspire others.

Here some pictures in respectful memory of Val Guest.

Now, in 2025, that legacy lives on.
This year’s Val Guest Spirit Award was presented to Connie McLean, recognized for embodying the same positivity, care, and uplifting presence that Val shared so naturally with those around her.
We also proudly celebrate this year’s additional award recipients:
Violetta Riva-Hernandez, Most Valuable Player, for her outstanding contributions and impact

Callysta Bastien, Team Player, for her collaboration and support of others
Cole Cram, Rookie of the Year, for his strong start and promising future
While we celebrate the achievements of today, we also take a moment to remember someone who helped shape what these awards represent. Val’s legacy continues to live on, not only through the award that carries her name, but through the countless lives she touched during her 20 years of service.
Her spirit remains a part of PSP, reminding us all of the power of kindness, connection, and showing up for one another every day.

Some people leave a mark that time cannot fade, and Val’s is one of them.

Congratulations to Ashley Todd and Will Little, who have recently been recognized at the Lakes College 2026 Apprentice Awards.
Ashley won the Future Talent Award in recognition of the exceptional quality of his work and his dedication to his studies. His commitment to getting things right and continually pushing himself sets a fantastic example.
Will was awarded Highly Commended in the Apprentice of the Year category, representing Bendalls. Although he was unable to attend on the day, his award was presented back at Bendalls by Sean Saunders and Lynn Goldie (pictured),

At , a recent moment reminded us that our values are not just words, they are actions.
While returning from lunch, one of our employees heard a cry for help from a nearby home. Without hesitation, they immediately sought assistance, alerting others and setting in motion a response that would make all the difference. A group of employees quickly came together to support a woman in distress, staying by her side and caring for her until emergency services arrived.
Thanks to that moment of awareness and quick action, help arrived in time. It is clear that had that call for help gone unheard, the outcome could have been very different.
Following the event, Jennifer Murch, Director of Operations, shared a heartfelt message recognizing the team’s response. She highlighted their quick thinking, calm presence, and genuine care , reminding everyone that our strength is not only in what we do, but in how we show up for others.

In doing so, he created space for connection, support, and understanding among his team and colleagues. His openness reminded many of the importance of compassion, empathy, and standing together during difficult times.
To honor this important moment, his team and colleagues came together to celebrate alongside him, recognizing not only his recovery, but the strength it took to get there. It was a moment filled with gratitude, hope, and genuine care.

Stories like Dave’s bring to life what our culture truly means. WE CARE is not just something we say, it’s something we show in how we support one another, especially in the moments that matter most.
