Save trees and a trip to the mailbox. Owners can now receive their annual assessment/maintenance fee statements by email. Check the box to enroll when signing up for your MyMassanutten.com account or change your preferences at any time by clicking Edit Information on the Dashboard and checking the Paperless Statements box next to your email address.
NEW - Autopay Options
You asked and we listened. You can now sign up for automated payments on MyMassanutten.com for maintenance fees and your mortgage loan. Choose between bank draft or credit card, paid monthly or once a year, based on your needs. Log on, select My Payments and click on the Auto Pay tab. For more information, email ownersassoc@massresort.com or call 540.289.4904, option 1.
Text Notifications
Would you like to receive text notifications regarding your account? We are improving our processes to become more sustainable with automated reminders. Check the consent box on your account information once you log into your account at MyMassanutten.com.
Stay & Play- Occupancy Based Resort Fees
Massanutten charges an occupancy-based resort fee, sharing the expense with all Resort guests and owners. Massanutten Owners receive a discounted rate of $5.35 per bedroom, per night for all reservations.
NEW - Owner Key Release Policy & Online Form
Owners receive one free Key Release annually per ownership. Owners can now digitally process a key release request online at MyMassanutten.com. Simply select Owner Key Release under My Reservations. Please ensure the key release is completed at least 48 hours prior to check-in. If you wait until check-in, there is a $25 administrative fee assessed to process the form and allow your guest to check-in. Please review the policy here.
NEW - Weeks Owners Reserve & Request Deposit to RCI® Online
Make a reservation and, if desired, request an RCI deposit all at one time on MyMassanutten.com. Click on My Reservations to get started. You can return at any time to view your confirmed reservations or if you wish to make a deposit request at a later date. We have how to videos to help if needed.
Free Wi-Fi
Massanutten Resort offers complimentary WiFi internet access in most condos, hotels, and common areas! Massanutten condo WiFi offers 40 mbps download & 10 mbps upload speeds on unlimited devices. Public WiFi internet access is also available at the business center at Massanutten Station.
Limited Dog Friendly Policy
You may be aware that many Massanutten Owners have requested policy changes for travel with their pets. In response, dog friendly accommodations are offered for a limited number of condos and in limited areas of the Resort: Eagle Trace, The Summit, Woodstone, and Regal Vistas. Learn more here.

If you’ve attended one of our weekly Welcome Events or visited the summer Farmers Market, you may have stopped by the Owner Engagement and RCI table or tent. We always enjoy the chance to connect with you. You may also see us, along with our on-site RCI representative, at festivals around the Resort—often with fun prizes and giveaways!
Last summer, we surprised owners with pop-up events around the Resort as a way to say thank you! From games and face painting at check-in to popsicles by the pool, it was our pleasure to add a little extra fun to your Massanutten experience. Ownership & Usage Plans
Fixed vs Float
Massanutten offers both fixed and floating week ownership options, each designed to accommodate a variety of vacation preferences:
Fixed Week Ownership:
A fixed week is the most traditional type of timeshare ownership. It allows you to vacation during the same specific week each year, as designated by the annual calendar (which begins with the first full calendar week of the year). This is ideal for owners who value consistency in their travel plans and prefer knowing exactly when they’ll vacation each year.
Floating Week Ownership:
A floating week offers greater flexibility, allowing you to select your vacation week within a designated season or set of weeks. Early planning is essential, especially during peak seasons, when availability can be limited. The specific weeks you’re eligible to reserve will depend on the season tied to your ownership.
Tips for Weeks Owners:
• Fixed and floating weeks owners are required to reserve 30 days prior to start of their ownership week or desired travel dates.
• Owners can now complete one step online at MyMassanutten.com to reserve their week and request the reservation be deposited with RCI.
Points Ownership
Points-based timeshare programs offer exceptional flexibility and customization, making them a highly valued option for many owners. Each year, owners receive a set number of points based on their ownership level, which can be used to reserve vacation accommodations through RCI’s global exchange network or right here at Massanutten Resort.
Tips for Points Owners:
• Home Week
Reserve 13-12 months before check-in date if you own fixed time and want to reserve the specific week and condo type you own.
• Home Resort
Reserve 12-11 months before check-in date if you own fixed time and want to reserve an available condo at your Home Resort other than the one you own.
• Home Group
Reserve 11-10 months before check-in date if you want to reserve an available condo at a resort that is part of a larger group of properties in your Home Group. Your Home Group represents Shenandoah Villas, Eagle Trace, The Summit, Woodstone, Regal Vistas, and Wilderness.
Standard RCI Points Reservation
10 months before check-in date if you want to choose from any of the other available RCI Points affiliated resort. All RCI Points membership reservations are handled directly through your RCI account online or by calling 844.968.7476.

Scam Alerts
Please beware of unscrupulous companies who contact timeshare owners promising to transfer ownership of their timeshare, especially if they request up-front fees for services. We have seen an increase in the number of scams that attempt to lure owners into providing their credit card number or other personal information.
Always Reach Out to the Owners Association
if you are suspicious or to find out more by email at ownersassoc@massresort.com or by phone at 540.289.4904, option 1. Don’t be tricked by professional-looking ads, documents, websites, or certain business ratings. These resale and relief companies usually shut down after a few years, when they start to feel the pressure of government agencies or mounting lawsuits, and simply start a new company. Some of these companies even allege they have a relationship with Massanutten.
When in doubt, contact us. There is an industry resource available to owners that tracks all of the latest news regarding timeshare ownership, contracting to sell, or exit your ownership. Shenandoah H2O is Making a Splash!
We’ve been watching the concrete get poured and the walls rise—now it’s time to announce the new identity for our waterpark and new hotel: Shenandoah H2O.
The new 140-room hotel and 4,000 square foot waterpark addition are set to open this fall. The hotel is designed to inspire a sense of wonder from the moment guests arrive. As they step through the front doors, they’ll be welcomed by a bright, 6,500-square-foot glass atrium overlooking the water park— an immersive indoor retreat featuring a stunning digital waterfall wall and photo opportunities with Theo, Bootsie, Sly, and, of course, Splash.
From there, guests will follow a scenic dockside walkway leading to the hotel, where modern guest rooms, themed bunk rooms, and spacious suites offer comfort, style, and a touch of adventure. Hotel guests will also enjoy access to the 4,000-square-foot waterpark addition featuring a pool, creating even more space to relax and play.
“Watching the hotel take shape and come alive as we have selected design elements and theming has been really rewarding,” says Director of Hospitality, Kelly Long. “I can picture the hotel from the guest’s point of view and can’t wait for them to experience it as well.” To celebrate, Gold Card Owners will be given a 20% discount off lodging at Shenandoah H2O, with online booking available later this summer.
Looking ahead, construction is also under way on the opposite side of the existing park for the larger 25,000 square foot addition, expected to open in early 2027. This addition will feature two new attractions: the world’s first immersive helix water ride—perfect for families to experience together—and a three-lane mat racing slide with sharp turns and quick drops. A wave pool, kids pool, and cabanas will complete the space, offering new ways for the whole family to enjoy Shenandoah H2O.
As always, Gold Card Owners will continue to receive 20% off admission to the Shenandoah H2O Water Park.

• Make your reservation to check-in and have a fun-filled week here at Massanutten, your home resort, at least 30 days prior to the beginning of your ownership week.
• Reserve online at MyMassanutten.com to reserve their week and request the reservation be deposited with RCI.
• Process a Key Release request online at MyMassanutten.com. Please ensure the key release is completed at least 48 hours prior to check-in.
• List your week for rental with the Resort’s preferred third-party vendor, TripForth here. Get your 2027 First Booking Dates here.

Owner Gold Card Discounts
The NEW Owner Website makes it easier than ever to book tickets with your Gold Card Owner discount. There are many easy ways to navigate:
• Click on My Trip Planning from the top navigation bar to see daily activities, hours, and to book tickets.
• Click Tickets from the Gold Card Benefits page or Book My Tickets on the My Trip Planning menu dropdown.
• Click Buy Tickets or Book Your Experience on the Dashboard.
No matter which way you choose, trip planning and Gold Card Owner tickets will always be at your fingertips. Simply find the block for the activity you are interested in and click Book Now. Need more information, use the navigation links to find information for that activity on massresort.com.
Gold Card Owner discounts are available for advance purchase exclusively on the Owners Website. You are still able to make in-person purchases however, you may find tickets have sold you, especially during holidays, weekends, and the busy summer season. Additionally, some activities may have deeper or exclusive online discounts.
A valid Gold Card ID will be required for each ticket purchased at time of redemption. Only Gold Card Owners are eligible for Gold Card discounts. Owners will need to show their physical Gold Card for each ticket, even those tickets pre-purchased online. For items purchased at non-Gold Card rate, Owners can still receive their discount but MUST show their physical Gold Card at the ticket window to receive a refund for the price difference. From Welcome to Tribute: A Meaningful Tradition
If you’ve visited the Owners Association office, you’ve likely been greeted by Connie and Faye. They take pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment, from their friendly smiles to the seasonal décor that adds a special touch throughout the year. Their creativity has also brought the team together through displays featuring everything from gratitude notes to favorite winter quotes.
In 2023, Faye introduced a meaningful new tradition: A Veterans Day Wall honoring service members within the Massanutten family, including employees and their family members. With Connie’s help, this tribute has grown each year with increased participation.
In 2025, the tradition expanded with a Veterans Day luncheon, bringing together employees who have served, contributors to the wall, and their veteran family members to reflect and honor our veterans.
We’ve appreciated the positive feedback from those who have visited the display and this year, we invite you—our Owners—to take part. Please consider submitting photos and stories of the veterans in your life, including you, using this form.
We look forward to honoring even more veterans and welcoming you into the office to experience the display.
Sustainability at Massanutten!
Campfire Grill kicked off the new year with a meaningful step toward sustainability by launching a composting program this January. Food waste is the largest contributor to landfill volume. This initiative is already helping reduce both waste and greenhouse gas emissions across the Resort. Since the beginning of this year, Campfire Grill has composted an impressive 2,580 pounds of food waste. Beyond composting, our team continues to expand waste reduction efforts—from recycling electronics through our IT department to our partnership with Clean the World to repurpose hotel soaps and toiletries. With 32 recycling receptacles placed throughout the property, it’s easier than ever for owners, guests, and team members to make an impact.
We were proud to host the Virginia Green Travel Alliance Conference in March, bringing together over 80 attendees, along with 50 participants for a behind-the-scenes sustainability tour. Speaking of reducing waste, be sure to check out gently used furniture at the New to Me thrift store. In 2025, more than 81 tons of furniture found a new home—helping divert items from the landfill while offering great finds for both your wallet and the planet. These efforts reflect our ongoing commitment to responsible operations and environmental stewardship.

What is one standout guest experience you’ve had while working at Massanutten?
• A group of three ladies arrived at the WaterPark on a day the park was closed, they misread the schedule. They were celebrating a birthday together, tiara and sashes on and ready to celebrate. Luckily, the arcade was open. My birthday present to them were all-you-can-play arcade cards and three complimentary admission vouchers for the WaterPark for the next day. They had a great two days and I received a surprisingly nice thank you card a week or so later. - Dana S.
• I was working as a lifeguard, teaching guests on the FlowRider when I met a child who was initially too scared to ride. After taking the time to talk with him and encourage him, he decided to give it a try. I guided him through the basics and a few tricks and he did an excellent job. When he finished, he thanked me, and shortly after, his parents approached me to express their appreciation. They shared that he is usually very shy and hesitant to try new things, so it meant a lot to them to see him step out of his comfort zone and confidently interact afterward. It was a rewarding experience to help create that moment for both him and his family. - Brooke D.
• When I was a lifeguard, I taught many guests how to ride the FlowRider but one guest stands out to me, an older gentleman who has since passed away. He was a minister from Pennsylvania who would travel here a few times a year and became quite good with his “stunt riding.” Mind you, this man was in his late 70’s and loved watching the crowd’s reaction to him. He became close to several of our staff and local guests so when he passed we wanted to pay tribute to him so I worked with the company and had a bodyboard made up with his picture on it and it hangs at the FlowRider to this day in his honor. - Dawn M.
• We have this one guest that comes every year to the Resort that loves coming to our store to shop. We walk her around the shop showing her different merchandise styles over the past year. We feel like her personal shopper. - Leisa R.

• Enjoy a beautiful summer day at the WaterPark and elevate your experience by renting a cabana. There are multiple cabana options providing a semi-private space to rest, relax, and receive food and beverage service before setting out for your next adventure at the park. - Dana S.
• The trails on the mountain seem to be a hidden gem. When guests visit the WaterPark that is always something they are surprised to learn about! The trails are great for a quiet, relaxing day and offer beautiful views. - Brooke D.
• The view at the very top of Del Webb is absolutely breathtaking!! My “go-to” place if I just need to “re-boot.” - Dawn M.
