Founded in 1873, MassArt is the country's first public, free-standing college of art and design, and the first to grant an art degree. Located on Boston's Avenue of the Arts, MassArt's campus comprises over 1 million square feet of space, and offers 18 undergraduate majors and 9 graduate programs.
