Booster Club funds athletics, extracurricular clubs, the arts and electives and special events. The Booster Club raises money from memberships, sponsorships, concession sales and product sales.
Coldwell Banker Mason Morse will feature nonprofit organizations at its tent each Saturday over 18 weeks at this summer’s Aspen Saturday Market. The company has a few spaces remaining for additional non-profits. The non-profit organizations scheduled to be featured include: Independence Pass Foundation, Aspen Historical Society, Thompson Divide Coalition, Aspen High School Booster Club, Shining Stars Foundation, Theater Aspen, Aspen High School Hockey Team, Susan G. Komen Aspen, ACES, Wildwood School, Aspen Education Foundation, Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers, Mountain Rescue, and AVSC. Limited spaces are available for the remaining Aspen Saturday Markets. Interested non-profits should contact the Aspen office at 970-925-7000. This is the fourth year Coldwell Banker Mason Morse has provided this benefit. Did you know? By age 4, low-income children can be 18 months behind their peers in cognitive and social skills with only ½ to ¼ the vocabulary. Many never catch up. Here in our valley community, 1 in 3 children are not prepared for kindergarten. Our valley can do better. ACF’S Cradle to Career Initiative builds youth success from Aspen to Parachute, serving the needs of over 22,000 children aged 0 -18 by bringing nonprofits, schools, business, government and philanthropy together to spur regional collaborative action that will ensure that children are ready for kindergarten and graduate from high school ready for college or career.
As the backbone organization for the Cradle to Career Initiative, ACF is guiding the vision and strategy, supporting aligned activities, building public will and mobilizing funding to advance the work of the Initiative. We have established a Cradle to Career Fund to support our efforts and help initiate and expand programs and services throughout our region.
