Maryvale

Maryvale has been serving children and families in need since 1856. Today, they are a leading nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and families across the San Gabriel Valley. With campuses in Rosemead, Duarte, and South El Monte, Maryvale’s trauma-informed programs address urgent community needs through early childhood education, outpatient mental health and substance use treatment, wraparound family services, and temporary housing for unhoused women with children. Our programs include: Early Childhood Education Year-round education from infancy to kindergarten, with low teacher-to-child ratios and culturally responsive care Mental Health & Substance Use Comprehensive and wraparound mental health services for youth, intensive outpatient care, case management, and school-linked behavioral health services. Temporary Housing (Seton House) Up to six months of temporary housing, therapy, parenting, and life skills training for unhoused mothers and their young children. All of Maryvale’s programs and services are integrated in a holistic approach to serve the Seton House families on their journey to greater independence.
