Our HMT 120 celebrations continue where we mark the 120th year of His Majesty’s Theatre. The Opera Gala in November will provide the opportunity to be part of an exceptional landmark in the life of HMT.
We’re proud to work in partnership with other Scottish venues to co-produce the classic Guys and Dolls. Our latest season brings us dramas in the shape of The King’s Speech and Strangers on a Train offering our audiences the highest quality, compelling dramas. Get immersed in Ceilidh the Musical, a new musical inviting you to step into one of Scotland’s oldest and most beloved traditions. We’re bringing the stars to Aberdeen with Sam Ryder appearing in Jesus Christ Superstar and the iconic Hadestown will visit the North-east in June 2027.

Chris is a Scottish photographer with a care experienced background, whose unobtrusive photography style captures the essence and personality of the people he photographs.
Ten Portraits is part of Caring Scotland, a three-year listening project led by acclaimed playwright Nicola McCartney documenting and recording the lives of Care Experienced people in Scotland.
Ten Portraits tours to venues and gallery spaces across Scotland throughout 2026.

In the wake of Graceland’s 30th anniversary, Camden’s Jazz Café commissioned the London African Gospel Choir to perform the album in its entirety for one night only. Tickets sold out within hours and so five more nights were added, and they all sold out as well, confirming the enduring appeal of Paul Simon’s masterpiece.
