The plains of Valais.

T

he plains of Valais are united by powerful bonds, including the river Rhône, the hillside vineyards,

and the canton’s exceptional heritage. They are another world – a land within a land that is full of contrasts and abounds with riches. We’ve put together this new brochure to show you what makes it so special. The brochure aims to provide a source of continuing inspiration, to kindle an irresistible desire to come and visit us here. Of course, it can’t replace the information provided by local tourist offices or a more general introduction to Valais and its exceptional mountains. Instead, it focuses on the touristic offering in the canton’s Rhône valley area – one that never fails to deliver. This brochure is available in French, German and English.
