Our history.

William Angliss, philanthropist and original owner of Marnong Estate, purchased Marnong Estate in 1874 and developed it into a prosperous sheep and cattle farm, as well as a centre for agricultural research and innovation.

Our 1840s Victorian-era Homestead (pictured left) has been restored to its formal glory (pictured right). Originally constructed using locally sourced bluestone, the building retains its traditional charm by showcasing one-of-a-kind ornate details.

Located in our historic Homestead, The Clarke Room hosts up to 10 delegates. With an inbuilt 60” flat-screen TV that seamlessly connects to laptops and other electronic devices, this provides the perfect environment for your business event.

The Woolshed

Our Woolshed exudes a rustic charm that perfectly blends with the historical appeal of the estate.

This exclusive event space boasts a versatile setup for corporate meetings, dining experiences and networking opportunities.

Featuring exclusive restroom facilities, a dedicated green room for facilitators, a satellite kitchen and bar, and a balcony that offers breathtaking views of the picturesque Macedon Ranges.

The Angliss Room

Presenting a truly exceptional event space, the elevated upstairs Angliss Room boasts breathtaking panoramas of the Macedon Ranges.

Designed to host medium to large conferences, product launches, and elegant dining occasions, the Angliss Room features dedicated restroom facilities, an abundance of natural light, automated sheer and blackout curtains, a private bar, two premium projectors and an advanced automated lighting system, guaranteeing a seamless and elegant experience.

Our venue offers an abundance of natural light, tall ceilings, and a pillarless layout, creating an open and inviting space. Guests will enjoy full climate control with integrated heating and cooling, along with complimentary Wi-Fi access for all attendees. Included in your booking is a stationery kit featuring notepads, pens and mints. Our spaces are equipped with a 60” Samsung TV screen and HDMI cables, a flipchart with pens, and a whiteboard with markers. Complimentary on-site car parking is also provided. Should you wish to supply your own audio-visual equipment or company, this must be approved by Marnong Estate management in advance, and all external equipment must be tagged and tested to current safety standards.

Known as our Italian street kitchen, Vista is the perfect setting to relax in the crisp country air, and bask in sweeping views from the summit. Bring a picnic blanket and recline on the lawn.

Experience authentic woodfired pizzas and pastas at Cucina 3064 and recline in a relaxed, family-friendly environment. Inspired by neighbourhood kitchens of Italy, our chefs have curated a delicious menu made from only the finest local ingredients.

Etna & Toscana Private Dining Room

Our Luxury Cabins

Our accommodation includes 10 luxury Cabins, each with a separate access Studio Room and a One-Bedroom Apartment. Each of the 20 rooms includes King beds (can split into King singles), a private bathroom, kitchenette, mini bar and balcony that overlooks our amphitheatre vineyard and surrounding mountainscape. Ideal for residential meetings and retreats spanning from overnight to multiple stays, with exclusive booking options. Controlled entry and exit access, private car parking space adjacent to cabins.

The Homestead

With luxurious accommodation to complement your corporate event, Marnong Estate offers our historical Homestead. This luxury accommodation has four suites, with our deluxe suite complete with claw-foot bath and fireplace.
