Minds and thumbs were stretched in a milestone event for the region which saw young people embracing a tech-filled future. Coding, electronics, virtual realities and esports took centre stage on Friday and Saturday at the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce organised Empower Te Rangapikikōtuku Coding & Esports Festival. And the country’s tech leaders say giving young people the opportunity and permission to engage with technology in a fun way empowers them.
