The word ‘harmony’ in floristry speaks of a relationship that combines various elements to make a pleasing arrangement.

I love planning an event, thinking about how I am going to decorate the table. I may spend days thinking about the details and maybe talking about it as well. The day will arrive and something won’t meet my expectations. Someone’s cancelled or my husband’s late. Maybe I just wasn’t quite as organized as I would have liked to be. My heart would sink briefly in disappointment.
Yet sometimes my house is a mess, I’m not at all prepared for company. Unexpected guests arrive and we have the best evening laughing, telling stories and somehow there is enough food for everyone.
No matter what centerpiece is on the table its the guests that warm the heart.

Christmas tree arrangement can be hung on the door or displayed as a centerpiece.
Christmas is a time of year when Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Jesus was born in a manger in the town of Bethlehem. At the time of his birth angels appeared to shepherds that were tending their flocks.
“An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
Luke 2 : 9-14 NIV
