The broader Georgia economy continues to create reasons for optimism. As Atlanta welcomes the world’s attention through the FIFA World Cup and the tremendous investment, visitors, and energy that come with it, we’re seeing firsthand why our region continues to attract people and businesses. Combined with continued commercial investment and growth across Metro Atlanta, the future remains bright for the communities we serve.

HILLROSE MARKET BREAKS GROUND IN DOWNTOWN ROSWELL
Construction is officially underway on Hillrose Market, a highly anticipated seven-acre mixed-use development that will transform a key site near Roswell City Hall into a vibrant, walkable destination. City leaders expect the development to boost economic activity, create hundreds of jobs, and further enhance Roswell’s appeal as one of Metro Atlanta’s most desirable live-work-play communities. n April 2, hundreds of agents gathered at The Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel & Convention Center for our annual Metro Brokers UNITE event where we celebrated our top agents. Our “Metro Cup” theme let everyone come together to connect, celebrate their achievements, and share a sense of belonging. We spent the day celebrating everyone’s hard work and dedication with a hot breakfast, tons of prize giveaways, and amazing speakers.
President of BHGRE, Ginger Wilcox, was the main
speaker who challenged attendees to go “All In” on the commitments that matter most this year. Her message: stop renegotiating with yourself.
Metro Brokers and our preferred vendors gave away tons of prizes: TVs, tickets for various Atlanta sports games, Yeti coolers, and much more! Those who completed the Metro Mission by visiting all the booths in the vendor expo were entered into a drawing to win $250 CASH at the end of the event. We had four lucky winners for a total of $1,000 in CASH giveaways!

Amy McCoy and Valery Rivera, working through the West Georgia Board of REALTORS®, spearheaded a Fair Housing initiative that earned recognition at the county, state, and industry levels and, more importantly, sparked real conversation in the communities where we live and work.
In recognition of April as National Fair Housing Month, Douglas County officially proclaimed April as Fair Housing Month locally, reinforcing the importance of equal housing opportunities and community awareness throughout the area. The initiative received significant recognition, including acknowledgment from the Douglas County Commissioners and a State Senate proclamation honoring the Fair Housing Exhibit and its impact.
At the center of the effort was The Keys to Equity Fair Housing Exhibit, an engaging and educational experience designed to highlight the history, responsibilities, and continued importance of Fair Housing. Open to both industry professionals and community members, the exhibit encouraged education, reflection, and meaningful conversations about creating stronger, more inclusive communities for everyone.
