RECEPTION!
In Reception at Charles Darwin Primary we have two classes. Our classes are called Flamingos and Penguins. But even though we have two classes, we share one big classroom! It is great fun, and it means we make lots of friends and we have lots of adults looking after us! Have a look in this book to see lots of lovely pictures of our school! My name is Miss Ashely and I can’t wait to see you all in September! We are going to have lots of fun and make some great memories in Flamingo class this year!
My name is Miss Burt, and I am SO excited to be your teacher! I love being in Penguin class because we have so much fun, everyday!
Being a Flamingo means that you always have someone to talk to, you always have some amazing learning to do and that you always have fun!
My favourite things to do in Penguin class is to read stories, play with the play-doh, play outside in the mud kitchen and sing songs. When I’m not at school I love going to the beach!
Flamingos are really wonderful animals, they have beautiful, bright feathers and sleep standing on one leg! I wonder if you can stand on one leg just like a flamingo?
Penguins are my favourite animals! Did you know, Penguins can’t fly? I can’t wait to find out what your favourite animal is!
