PETE’S WEEKLY MARKET UPDATE G’day chefs, How about that storm over the weekend! It gave the boats a fair old hiding and put a handbrake on catches, but they’re back out today and hopefully the local fish start biting again. Jewfish is looking amazing at the moment and is a great all-rounder. We’ve also got SA Flathead, NZ Snapper and a good amount of Tuna coming through. On the shellfish side, there’s a bucket load of SA Blue Swimmer Crabs on the way, while Tassie Octopus is in plenty and looking the goods. Check them out!! It’ll be a little slower to start the week. Silver Dory and Crimson Snapper will be short early but should pick up as the week rolls on. Flounder is a little tight, along with Blue Eye and Hapuka. We’re also expecting some reef fish to start coming through later in the week as the weather settles and the boats get a few more days on the water. A slow start, but it should build nicely through the week. Call out if you need anything!
