MALAMALA BEACH CLUB

Surrounded by Fiji’s famous crystal-clear waters, Malamala Beach Club provides groups with a stylish multi-faceted events venue in a picture perfect, relaxed setting. With flexible spaces and a casual, fresh atmosphere, we have everything you need to create an event your guests will never forget on our 2.4-hectare private island.

An open-air restaurant with views over the main infinity-edged pool out to the Mamanuca Islands. Perfect for weddings or conferences.

VESSEL TRANSFERS

Located just 30 minutes from Port Denarau, Malamala Beach Club is one of the most accessible island destinations in the Mamanuca Islands. Guests can arrive via an exclusive vessel charter for groups of up to 240 guests (per vessel) or travel on scheduled daily services departing Port Denarau at 9:30am, 10:00am and 12:00pm, with return services at 4:45pm and 6:00pm. Optional transfers can also be arranged from Momi Bay and selected Mamanuca Island resorts.

SOUTH SEA SAILING

Fiji’s true sailing experience onboard SABRE! This tropical sailing adventure in the Mamanuca Islands is ready to take groups of up to 70 passengers for day trips or afternoon / evening charters.

Set sail aboard SABRE by South Sea Sailing, a spectacular custom-built 78-foot sailing catamaran and the first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. With spacious shaded decks, comfortable lounge areas and flexible seating options, SABRE provides a distinctive setting for incentives, celebrations, corporate events and private charters, accommodating up to 70 guests by day and 55 guests for evening dining experiences.

Visit our private island sand cay and untouched coral reef, abundant with marine life. Each journey through the beautiful Mamanuca Islands will depend on the warm tropical breeze and sea conditions, creating a unique experience every day.

RIDE & SLIDE

Bring your group aboard our South Sea Cats vessel for the ultimate 4.5-hour snorkelling adventure in the stunning Mamanuca Islands. Departing Port Denarau at 12:15pm and returning at 4:45pm daily, this fun-filled experience combines island scenery, crystal-clear waters and unforgettable marine encounters.

Purpose-built for comfort and adventure, the vessel features comfortable seating, open-air sides for cooling sea breezes, restroom, and a quality sound system. The highlight is the inflatable waterslide, which deploys from the roof when at anchor, providing a fun and unique way to enter the water.

Snorkelling equipment, paddle board use, a light lunch, bottled water, soft drinks, local beer, and house wine are all included.

CUSTOM CHARTER

Charter this vessel and take your group on their very own snorkelling, island hopping, and/or scenic island cruise adventure with the experience tailored to suit your requirements offering a unique and memorable way to explore Fiji’s beautiful islands.

ISLAND FEATURES

Fantastic snorkelling and swimming even at low tide and our semi-submersible coral viewer ‘Subsea Adventure’ – perfect family fun! Snorkelling equipment, guided snorkelling trips, kayaks, and paddle boards are all included along with a Fijian ‘Meke’ performance (daily except Sunday).

SOUTH SEA ISLAND

South Sea Island, a tiny gem in the Mamanuca Islands group, is only 30 minutes by high-speed catamaran transfer from Port Denarau. Surrounding this small island are crystal clear waters supporting an abundance of live coral, home to thousands of tropical fish.

Corporate events

Need a conference venue with a difference? Theatre style tables and chairs under the palm trees will make for a memorable and creative environment and for smaller groups and the permanent bure can accommodate up to 50 guests. The island is also a superb venue for team building exercises.

Incentive groups

Enjoy a full or half day South Sea Island Day Trip and all it has to offer for your next incentive event or include an island dinner under the palm trees and stars.

Cruise through the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands with the exclusive use of an entire high-speed catamaran and transport your guests in comfort and style.

South Sea Cruises offers a range of high-speed catamarans of various layouts and lengths. All feature an air conditioned main lounge with licensed bar and multiple outdoor seated viewing areas. All vessels, except one, have a premium air-conditioned Captain’s Lounge including the brand new Yasawa Flyer III, a 320-seat passenger ferry launched in August 2025 and Jaguar, a 225-seat passenger ferry due for launch in August 2026.

South Sea Cats has two 14.9m vessels new to market in 2025. Purpose-built for both resort transfers as well as snorkelling day trips, these vessels boast comfortable seating, open sides for airflow and great views, beach landing access from the bow, onboard snacks and drinks, luggage storage, a restroom, and sound system. Ideal for comfortable yet quick resort transfers in and around Fiji’s Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands.

GETTING THERE

Mai Sunset Beach Resort is located on Naviti Island in the Yasawa Island group. South Sea Cruises Yasawa Flyer ferry service runs daily to the resort with drop off at around midday and pick up around 2.00pm each day. Alternatively, our South Sea Cats vessels can be chartered and are suitable for groups of up to 36 passengers.
